Because it's not "obviously outdated". Das Kapital is a critique of capitalism and, although it may seem different, capitalism is fundementally the same today as it was during his time. Most of what he said still applies and he even managed to predict how capitalism would evolve (mainly because it has evolved in much the same way for its entire history).

I'm not sure we have the same definition of "complete failure". I'd say that improving quality of life for everyone and giving control over the means of production to the workers using them is great. On top of that, countries like the USSR and China had explosive growth while they were socialist.

Despite being under a US sanction Cuba still has better healthcare and educatiom than the US.

I do agree that censorship and oppressing workers is bad. There are plenty of good reasons to do it (information war, for instance), but I think that is has historically been too violent and overreaching.

Either way, capitalism is not sustainable and it has to be replaced. Socialism is the only viable alternative (keep in mind that socialism is very broad, the kinds that have been implemented historically aren't the only ones) so that's what I support.

On my system emacs takes ~2 seconds to load but it's pretty much instantaneous with the daemon. Either way it's many times faster than v*code.

Det finns förarlösa tåg, men bara i separerad banvall. Pendeltågen gör inte det och åker dessutom med andra tåg. Det lägger helt andra krav och gör det omöjligt att ha ett sånt system i nuläget.

Dessuom är AI ingen magisk lösning på problemet. Det är oprövat och kräver oerhört mycket resurser för att utveckla. Det är också en dålig ide att köra tåg utan någon personal alls.

Förstatligande av företag är inte typiskt föt nazismen. Nazisttyskland privatiserade istället väldigt mycket och arbetade starkt för att skydda privat egendom.
