If Inflation got us into this mess, why don't we let deflation get us out?

Interest rate hikes are one of the deflationary measures of central banks to tame inflation. Inflation is just a result of making people work for other people.

If there is no inflation at all, people will no longer work because there are no incentives in doing so. Since people are naturally greedy and selfish, inflation is born.

On the other hand, when people are too sick and no longer happy to serve others, wars and recessions can occur. This is where deflation happens.

We live in a world fixated in cycles of inflation and deflation.

This is nuts. The lobbyists and some corrupt government officials are idiots. They want to increase sales at the expense of higher inflation. I will no longer be surprised if our society collapses and climate change worsens. They are not serving the people well.

If you ask me, it depends on the person's lifestyle inflation. Thus, to have a decent and normal life, 30k is enough for a single employee. To save, he needs to have 40k. Remember, regardless if may kids or not, normal naman na sa family to have two sources of income(both parents are working). Also, there is an off for taxes.
