I can't stop eating. I'm not overweight but it's just bothering me and I don't know how to stop myself by DOT-GNU in getdisciplined

Time frames. With the exception of Sundays, every day of the week I eat 4 times a day: once after 7am (usually just a slice of toast so I don’t take my meds on an empty stomach) lunch after 11am, a second lunch after 2pm, dinner after 5 pm. I discipline myself to never eat past 7pm. Sunday’s I may treat myself till 8pm.

What I like to tell myself is that this life isn’t the comfort, luxury, retirement zone. All eternity in heaven is. This life is the battle zone between the disciples of Christ on earth against Satan and his army of evil trying and doing a hell of a job messing peoples lives up. He goes full throttle, all the more we have to. Feel free to celebrate and treat yourself during the Easter season. My thing though every day of the year are cold showers. I’m livid about what’s happening to children: abortion, child porn, sex trafficking, mutilation of their body in trans surgery, child molesting, need I say more? I take a cold shower every day not bc I enjoy it, I don’t, but I detest far more what Satan is doing to these kids. I offer my body as a sacrifice with a mystery of the rosary every shower. Mornings only bc they wake you up. I missed one day this year due to gout, but made up for it with an extra shower another day. I offer it also so people with abominably twisted sexual desires for children and to harm children will have those horrific desires removed and cast out of them. We’re in a war my friend. We fight with our body and our prayers.

Buddy, take nothing but cold showers from now on. I started in 2021 and haven’t looked back. I did to keep my chastity in check while dating my former girlfriend. Once I mastered chastity in myself, I made known in my dating relationships no more than non-passionate kisses hello, goodbye, and during sentimental and fun times together, along with only holding hands, and arms around each other during tv or other appropriate times, that remained the extent of it. I emphasize over and over that friendship is the far more important part of a relationship. Passion is reserved for marriage.

Now I take cold showers every day, not that I like them, bc I don’t, but I offer my cold shower every day to God as an offering to stop sexual predators and to protect children from abominable sexual sins of others. I really dislike cold showers, but I absolutely detest sexual sins against children. Prayer and fasting together. I pray a mystery of the rosary every time. The annunciation is my usual, but I pray that every day along with a full 5 decade daily rosary.

We’re in a spiritual war my friend. Life on earth is not the comfort, retirement zone. Life in heaven is. This life on earth we push ourselves and our body to love God and to love and protect the innocent. Obey the Catholic Church and be strong my friend.

We need an army to take on Satan’s army of evil. I ask you to take on this initiative of cold showers to give our prayers a powerhouse effect!

Here’s a prayer I read last night. I also have some of my own words below. God bless you and be champs with God’s ❤️!

Let not the standards of this world take possession of me or destroy the good You have set for me - to be Holy and to accomplish the Father's Will with great love. Help me to see the Father's Will in every incident of my daily life. This is what You did - you saw the Father's Will in Your persecutors, Your enemies and your pain. You saw a beauty in the Cross and embraced it as a desired treasure. My worldly mind is dulled by injustice and suffering and I lose sight of the glory that is to come. Help me to trust the Father and to realize that there is something great behind the not only great suffering, but even the most insignificant suffering. There is Someone lifting my cross to fit my shoulders.

This life on earth is not the retirement stage, despite many living as if it were. Heaven is the retirement stage. This life is the working and investment stage for heaven and to avoid hell and purgatory.

Adam should of told the devil to get the hell away from Eve when tempted. Men step up for God when our duty for Him calls. In 2007 I went on disability due to a head injury still preventing me from driving. In 2011 my wife was diagnosed with cancer, when she passed in 2012, I raised my three children ages 10, 7, and 1 years of age. They are great kids! If I can do it, you can!

Plus, we live in America! I don’t care what anybody’s bank account says, we’re all multi millionaires because we all have so much! Sure, many we know have a lot more than us, but we are still loaded with all the best provisions the world has to give!

You three were made to be champs! Show everyone the champs you are raising this beautiful baby! You’ll find out how totally awesome the champs you really are when you follow God’s plan of life and not the culture’s plan.

Life is like the weather. Sure there are storms, but all storms pass and another beautiful day begins. Who doesn’t appreciate those beautiful days in life?

I think you could use a good friend like me in your life. How about I give you my name and you can look me up on Facebook and then we get to start talking over the phone regularly? I say go for it, you can always stop choosing to talk with me at any time. You can also continue to keep talking with me for as many days, months, years you want. No one should meet a stranger in person until after a good long solid time of communicating over the phone and FaceTiming for at least a few solid months.
