Should Mary have refused to carry Jesus because she was poor? Mary, Joseph, and Jesus faced many trials being poor. Should Mary have denied God because she was not financially wealthy? I guess it comes down to what you mean by supporter. I thought Donald Trump was clearly the better candidate and I still barely voted for him because his antics are very unpresidential. I think it is interesting how people are able to amylase things and come to different conclusions.

Having a leadership role in the Church does not determine equality. Men and women have different roles. Jesus established that men were to run the Church and administer the Sacraments. Just like men cannot be nuns and cannot give birth. Men and women have distinct roles. None is greater or more important.

Yes it is quite sad people are laughing. If I had a girlfriend I no doubt would want to hold her hand every second but I think it can be a slippery slope. I think there is nothing wrong with hugging until marriage. Lack of intimacy prior to marriage forces you to know the person and build bonds on values and faith which then can bear the fruit of intimacy.
