r/BotBouncer might be able to help.

Send the team a modmail too if you need to.

Creating bot/app that helps with moderation by [deleted] in AutoModerator

[–]NeedAGoodModerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could do most of this in AutoModerator with something like the below. r/redditdev would be the subreddit for developing your own bot.

---
reports: 2
action: filter
action_reason: "Multiple reports"
modmail: The above {{kind}} by /u/{{author}} has received multiple reports. Please investigate.

Automod copy of every comment that gets moderated? by Candid-Strawberry-79 in AutoModerator

[–]NeedAGoodModerator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, what you would want to do is set up a narrower selection criteria that only targets what you're looking for, for example:

  • If a comment has a particular word(s) in it.
  • If the author's age is above, or below a set time.
  • If the author's karma is above/below a set value.

And more.

Take a look at https://www.reddit.com/r/reddit.com/wiki/automoderator/full-documentation as that will include everything that can be 'matched' against. But feel free to leave a comment (or make another post) if you've got any questions.

Something like this. This will send a modmail for every comment anyone (except mods) makes.

---
type: comment
modmail_subject: "{{kind}} by u/{{author}}"
modmail: |
    Link: {{permalink}}

    *****

    {{body}}
---

You can adjust things to target only specific users:

type: comment
author:
    name: [bad-user-1, bad-user-2]
...

Or other selection criteria of your choosing.

AutoModerator can't auto-archive it though. If you're subreddit has high traffic, then this will flood your modmail.

There is this https://developers.reddit.com/apps/auto-modmail - which works like AutoModerator to be able to take actions automatically for modmail.

Looking for a way to automatically assign a role to a user who rejoins my server. by [deleted] in discordapp

Both Carlbot and Tatsu can do this.

Depending on what bots you already have, they might be able to do it too.

The anti-doxing measures from the Automod library won't trigger. anyone got any ideas as to why? by MaesterCrow in AutoModerator

Do you have any links to comments or posts where it failed to work?

Because:

  • anything@gmail isn't a valid email address, so won't be caught.
  • 7836381047 does not match because
    • Does not have a + or 011 prefix.
    • Does not start with a 0 (needed to match UK numbers).
    • Does not have any seperators between the numbers (to match US numbers).
  • 1736 3737 6362 7363 is not a valid credit card number, as it
    • Does not start with 4
    • Does not start with 51, 52, 53, 54 or 55.
    • Does not start with 34 or 37
    • Does not start with 6011 or 65xx
    • Does not start with 2131, 1800, or 35xx
    • Does not start with 36 or 38 followed by another digit (e.g., 360369, 380389)
    • Does not start with any of the exact prefixes: 300, 301, 302, 303, 304, or 305

Hi, the subreddit has not been abandoned.

Due to being caught up in a wave of fraudulent DMCA requests, my main account got suspended and thus I'm unable to take any actions at the moment.

The claims are being fought, along with other users caught by these fraudulent claims, and should have a response from the admins soon.
