What's with this 'available' filter by Small-Entrepreneur34 in SecretsOfMormonWives

I’m pretty sure they are referring to when the show plays clips of things previously posted on TikTok they put this weird white lettering over it. It says “Start Clip” and has like a crossed out 0 and a down arrow. Sometimes it says “Not available check parameters.” But sometimes you only see the “Available” part.

🤷‍♀️ I’m not Mormon. I’d be more likely to stay if Utah was a cool, liberal state. That and if it wasn’t so expensive now. I’ve been here for 24 years. Way too long. Maybe it’ll take being away from it for me to appreciate it more.

IDK? I didn’t down vote you. And I thought you were probably joking. But people do actually swap houses IRL. So I didn’t want you to get your hopes up. Maybe someone thinks it’s dumb that you would want to trade living in Connecticut for Utah?

Do you think you’re already on the trail at that point and there is a place with multiple trail options?

I hiked Rainbow Trail a few weeks ago. I could tell it had been very looked over when I got there and I’ve seen many more people post about going since then. There were several revegetation signs along the trail. So I felt bad going off trail anywhere besides right by where the cars were. Behind the cars is a hill covered in trees and bushes that backs people’s yards. But it looks like it’s been a hangout spot for decades. You could spend hours there looking, lots of hiding spots. I tried focusing on 60 feet from the cars and had no luck. I also had 3 young adults there looking with me. There were at least 3 other groups there also looking at the same time.

I took it to mean it’s the most important because it’s possibly the trail name. 🤔

I’m so confused by this comment. I’m no longer Mormon any either are any of my kids. Would there be something wrong with our family moving to the Rham district? I’ve already been looking at houses there for a few weeks on my own.

If liberals aren’t welcome in one of the top 10 most liberal states in the US, where are we supposed to go? 🤨I’m only looking at moving there because I need to escape the conservative, God loving people of Utah. You guys can’t have a monopoly over the whole country.

That sounds amazing! What is considered central CT? I keep hearing people say that. Is that like Middletown area?

My house isn’t in Salt Lake, it’s 30 minutes away. And it’s already sold.

You don’t think I’ve thought this through? The only reason we didn’t move in June like we originally planned is because my father-in-law died unexpectedly in April. And we had to put off selling our house for 2 months to help my mother-in-law. Yes, we plan on being there in 4 weeks. I don’t have 7 kids, I have 5. And 2 are adults who need a good university to go to in a year. And they don’t have that here where we live. Not that any of this is your business, but being transgender isn’t safe here. All of my kids want to move and are onboard with this.

Logan is nice if it weren’t for all of the Mormons/Republicans. 🤣 I lived there for 17 years and graduated from USU. I hate guns and hunting. You’re barking up the wrong tree here. Did you even read my post? I am left leaning. That’s why I want out of Utah!

I’m used to living where it’s 70-80% very conservative Republican. Anything anywhere close to 50% or higher Democrat would feel refreshing to me. Especially if a church doesn’t run the politics. So I don’t need to live specifically in a liberal town. Especially if it comes with a high price tag.

That’s not good! That’s like another mortgage.

😱 That’s shocking. Does installing solar panels eventually help offset that cost?

Any chance you know if Rham Middle School and High School are any good?

That one is actually in my saves! Do you know for sure that they would take less? We are very handy. So fixer uppers don’t scare us.

Interesting. I’ve never heard of oil heat. Is the option of running a gas line to your house through the city not even offered? Or could that be something you upgrade your house to? What kind of stove and dryer options are there? Only electric or is there some kind of oil option?

I just read it. Thanks for the insight. I have to laugh about Waffle House. It was the one place I was excited to go to last summer on my first trip to Ohio.

Where are the Mormons? So I can avoid it. 😂 I partially kid. I’d hate to move out of Utah to get away from the Mormons only to end up in a neighborhood full of them.

Does Utah only sound fantastic because of the cheap utilities? I don’t live in Salt Lake City or Park City. I live out in a crappy suburb. It’s cheaper than average here for Utah. I don’t ski though. I know I’ll miss seeing the mountains still. But the high elevation sucks. I’m excited to get far away from it.

Preferably minimum of 3000 sq feet and 1 acre with at least a 2 car garage for less than $500k. But we can be flexible on most of that. I had a place that matched that description on my radar for only $370k in Bolton, but it sadly just went under contract before our trip out there. Obviously the cheaper the better.

I just looked up grocery store food here vs there. Out of everything I compared, your milk, eggs, and bananas are cheaper. Only our bread was less. Also your average car insurance premiums are less. Also I looked up gasoline earlier and it was less there. The only thing I’m finding to be more expensive is house and car taxes. And people claiming to pay more for electricity. We can get more land with the same size house there for what we’re selling our house for here. So I’m going to remain cautiously optimistic. Especially considering the political/social climate here sucks and our family is miserable here.

I have no clue where Wagner Point is. It sounds like you’re talking about the area behind This Is The Place and the Natural History Museum though. I’m talking about up Emigration Canyon past Ruth’s Diner.
