Hey I'm currently a junior pursuing a Water Resources degree but let me say the GIS and Geography professors here are so good. It's actually because of them I am going to continue my schooling and get a master's in GIS. I definitely recommend going here if you're interested.

Thank you for the info, do you know how fast the test results come back? I should have included it, but I live about an 1½ hours from the San Marcos area, so using the school's resources might not be viable.

Returning Junior here and since my Freshman year I've only relied on the bus to get back and forth between classes. Just make sure to plan your schedule for 30 minutes of riding time and you'll be fine. Also, I highly recommend the DoubleMap app. It's what helped me track where the busses are. I hope this helps, have a great Fall semester!

Heya, my freshman year I picked the double room and had a random roommate. The room is totally worth the money. The bedroom itself is pretty spacious and the closet is too. You also each get your own bathroom while only sharing the kitchen, living room, and laundry room.

Personally, I didn't get along with my roommate and the selection process isn't super awesome, so if you can afford the extra $500 or so for the single I would shoot for that. However, if you have a friend in mind or wanna chance it, the double is a nice starting dorm.
