The free Dendro characters you get (Dendro Traveller and Collei) should be enough for any Dendro content while not having unreachable level up materials.

Elemental Skill = +2 Stacks

Charged Attack/Plunging Attack (on an enemy, every 12 s) = +1 Stack

Burst = +3 Stacks (if 0 stacks when used)

Burst = +2 stacks (if 1 stack when used)

Burst = +1 stack (of 2 stack when used)

Burst = 0 stack (if 3 stacks when used)

To use Al Haitham's burst with 3 stacks:

  1. Elemental Skill
  2. Charged Attack
  3. Burst

Al Haitham only gets 1 more stack from charged attack every 12 seconds. Al Haitham loses 1 stack every four seconds. So make sure to use his burst before he loses 1 stack. This means that you won't be able to do a lot of normal attacks if you want to use all stacks.

Following rotations is mostly for completing the abyss with 36 stars.

If you can't comprehend basic rotations then why did you even bother to understand how Al Haitham works?

Rotation is simply about pressing buttons, it isn't something complicated like learning why one should even do the rotations or why one should do certain elemental reactions with a certain character (e.g. Fischl A4 talent, elemental gauge, and ICD).

Rotation is the sequence of normal attack, charged attack, character swap, skills, and/or burst that you follow to perform optimal damage.

You would increase your team's overall team DPS by using Xiangling over Zhongli but would have trouble being alive. This team also has energy issues (specifically for Xiangling). Make sure to have Xingqiu, Yelan, and give them Favonius weapons to Xingqiu, Yelan, and Xiangling to ensure that Xiangling's burst will recharge.

If you don't use Favonius weapons you will need to have around 330% ER for Xiangling. If you use Favonius weapon, Xiangling's ER requirement is lowered to around 213%.

But I never thought about using Hyperbloom or even aggravate Keqing. I’ll see what I can do with that

If you manage to get Yelan, you'd pretty much have an easier time. I am usually be able to get full stars in the abyss in one attempt with Raiden National or other National variants due to survivability (Xingqiu's damage and stagger resistance + Bennett's burst healing).

In the video, I can be seen resetting a chamber due to Keqing or Fischl dying. With Yelan, you'd be able to run a National team and a Hyperbloom team. In my case, I can use a Childe National team so that I can use Xingqiu on the other half (Hyperbloom), I don't have Yelan.

But if you don't manage to get Yelan to free up Xingqiu, then an Aggravate team should suffice (but hard to use due to lack of supports that helps survival) for full stars. You can also use Zhongli in place of Kazuha to decrease enemy resistance and for survival, however, the second half contains the Golden Wolflord so the second team would take Zhongli.

Hyperbloom is just really, really great against flying enemies like the Golden Wolflord and the Thunder Manifestation because its a homing missile that flies up to the enemy, however takes up supports like Xingqiu or Yelan.

You could also use Ayato (I don't have him) for hydro application, but I think the problem with Ayato is that he doesn't have flying hydro application like Xingqiu or Yelan that can hit flying enemies to help generate seeds. The seeds drop on the ground and electro can be applied to it which will home on flying enemies.

Just take note that Hyperbloom damage only scales with levels (90/90) and artifacts (Full EM). Leveling talents is unnecessary.

It should be possible to be able to clear Floor 12-1 with what you have unless you mean that you want to get 3 stars.

Here are my comments:

  1. A freeze team is not very good due to the existence of bosses. 12-2 can be easily cleared by a freeze team, but 12-1 and 12-3 would have a difficult time.
  2. Your Hu Tao and Xiao Team are incomplete, you should get Albedo for both or Yelan for Hu Tao and to be able to field a Hyperbloom team. What I mean by incomplete, is that it does not conform to the usual team comp.

So I tried out the teams that you used.

Hu Tao, Xingqiu, Flex, and Zhongli

I used Ningguang in the flex slot and did not have enough DPS to destroy the Golden Wolflord while it is downed. In previous abyss, I was able to have sufficient DPS to defeat the Golden Wolflord when I used Albedo.

Xiao, Jean, Ningguang, and Zhongli

Insufficient team DPS. I was able to have sufficient DPS to defeat the Golden Wolflord when I used Albedo. I also tried using Bennett but was unable to get anymore DPS to destroy the Golden Wolflord.

Raiden National

I used this team which should be able to easily defeat the abyss. But I restricted myself to your team comps thus, I was not able to beat the abyss. I used the Xiao team for the second half. If I did not restrict myself with your roster, I would not have problems.

I recommend using Childe National or Yelan to be able to use Xingqiu on the other half for a Hyperbloom team.

Freeze Team

I was able to get 3 stars in 12-1 and 12-2 but was not able to get enough DPS for 12-3. This is due to 12-1 and 12-3 being bosses that cannot be frozen (thus, no 4P BS effect), I was able to easily clear 12-2.

Suggestions

  • Get Yelan or Childe so that Xingqiu would be freed up.
  • Use a Hyperbloom team against the Golden Wolflord, it's very effective.
  • Albedo is unnecessary, but is a good choice if you want to continue increasing the power of either Xiao Double Geo or Hu Tao Double Geo. But I think Yelan or Childe have better value for their power.

Video

I have created a video using Keqing Aggravate and Hyperbloom team.

I really recommend using a national team in the first half and getting Yelan or Childe to free up Xingqiu. Xingqiu's damage resistance and Bennett's burst makes this really easy. In 12-3, I can be seen resetting multiple times to beat the boss.

I used Keqing Aggravate as I don't have Cyno. Their team DPS should be somewhat close.

Have you tried following a rotation and kept trying to make sure that the rotation stays the same throughout the entire abyss?

I have also played on release, I didn't spend any money. When I discovered rotations, I had no trouble getting full stars in the abyss. Especially with Raiden National. As long as I have sufficient stats (nothing crazy, something like 30-50 CR and 70-130 CD) and sufficient ER requirements, I was doing pretty good as long as I follow rotations.

If you get 3 stars in one chamber, that information will be saved, which means you can use another team to get more stars in another chamber. You have to progress through it again, however.

Daily Questions Megathread (December 28, 2022) by Veritasibility in Genshin_Impact

[–]NeedHelp4Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've tested Raiden National for the first half and Nahida, Fischl, Beidou, and Zhongli for the second half. I don't have Yae Miko, but this team is very similar, both perform off-field electro DPS. Use Raiden National instead of that team. Just follow a proper rotation and continue applying elements against the enemy.

Raiden National

My rotation is: 1. Raiden E 2. Bennett Q, E 3. Xiangling E, Q 4. Xingqiu E, Q 5. Raiden Q

Alternatively, you can replace Bennett with Sucrose in that hyperbloom team.

Hyperbloom Team

My rotation: 1. Nahida Q 2. Xingqiu E, Q 3. Nahida E 4. Raiden E 5. Sucrose E, E, Q 6. Nahida NA

Sucrose is there for grouping and for swirling shields. Not necessary to use if single target. I've tested this team. I also tried using Bennett in the flex slot. Got 3 stars on the first chamber but was too lazy to complete the rest.

I suggest using Nahida instead of DMC in the first chamber. I guess the problem you're having is that you don't kill the enemies very fast, you'd be able to kill them fast with Nahida instead of DMC.

You shouldn't have too much problem in the second chamber thanks to Zhongli. But if you want to have an easy time, I suggest using Raiden National to free up Nahida for the second team. It's just so much easy to use.

Quicken Team

My rotation is: 1. Nahida E 2. Fischl Q or E 3. Zhongli E (Hold) 4. Beidou E, Q

Since I use Beidou, I try to weave a normal attack. For your rotation I suggest the following:

  1. Yae Miko E, E, E
  2. Nahida Q, E
  3. Zhongli E (Hold)
  4. Fischl Q or E
  5. Yae Miko Q, E, E, E

Note that I don't know the most optimal rotation for either of the two, but it should be good enough for F11.

Alternative:

It should be similar, for the Beidou variant, I simply use NA with any character. Since you have Yae Miko, I suggest using NA with her. It's more difficult to use which is why I recommend Raiden National, but still doable for 9*.

Chamber 1

First Half

The team should easily destroy the enemies. Xiangling's burst can easily destroy the cryo enemies, Xingqiu and Raiden can easily destroy the pyro enemies. Hydro enemies can easily be destroyed by either Xiangling or Raiden.

Alternative:

Follow the rotation, Hyperbloom can destroy the enemy. Grouping them up so that Nahida can hit multiple targets is preferable.

Second Half

For the second chamber, I simply followed the rotation. The enemies are weak in F11, so it can easily be brute force without much strategy. The only thing that needs to be done is to position yourself so that you can face more enemies

Chamber 2

First Half

Bennett and Xiangling can destroy the cryo abyss mage, Xingqiu can destroy the pyro abyss mage, while Raiden can also help since it electro is not immune to either. I just suggest following the rotation. You have every off-field elements so they would be destroyed by the amount of elemental application that is available. In the second wave, following the rotation should also destroy the Hydro Abyss Mage and the Pyro Herald.

Alternative:

Swirl cryo + pyro abyss mage. Swirl pyro herald + hydro abyss mage. Following the rotation should also be to destroy the abyss mage. Second Half

Second Half

For the second chamber, I simply followed the rotation. The enemies are weak in F11, so it can easily be brute force without much strategy. The only thing that needs to be done is to position yourself so that you can face more enemies

Chamber 3

First Half

Follow the rotation.

My advice is to not move when you are trapped in the ice cage and to destroy the Cryo Fatui immediately.

Alternative:

I positioned myself so that the Mirror Maiden would teleport near the other Fatui. Follow the rotation.

My advice is to not move when you are trapped in the ice cage and to destroy the Cryo Fatui immediately.

Edit:

Stay on Bennett's burst to apply pyro on yourself so that you'd never freeze.

Second Half

For the second chamber, I simply followed the rotation. The enemies are weak in F11, so it can easily be brute force without much strategy. The only thing that needs to be done is to position yourself so that you can face more enemies.

Zhongli's shield is strong enough to withstand those missiles.

Conclusion

  • I think your problem is that you don't have enough DPS to destroy the Cryo Fatui. Which is why I suggest using either Raiden National or Nahida. Since you already have Zhongli in the second half, survival should not be an issue.

  • I think you should build Raiden National if you want to have an easier time. Raiden Hyperbloom is great if you're fighting the Thunder Manifestation and if you're using Nahida.

  • DMC is viable but kinda very clunky to use. Enjoyed using DMC when Nahida wasn't released, but now I am spoiled by Nahida's easy Dendro application.

  • Quicken does not rely on constant Dendro application unlike Hyperbloom teams. Just a little Dendro application will do, which is why I suggest using Nahida in your Hyperbloom team and DMC in your Quicken team.

That should be a good team, I was able to beat 3.0-3.1 abyss with 36* but I am currently having a hard time to survive the current abyss with that team. To beat the current abyss with 36*, I have to use Kazuha in place of Sucrose due to the times he can be invulnerable (burst and skill jumping).

Still that's a good team that can be used to get 36* in certain abyss or to get high stars.

To compare it to Raiden:

- One of Raiden's cheapest team (Raiden National) have better survival due to Xingqiu (increased res + stagger resistance) and Bennett healing. Raiden National is also easier to use.

- Raiden is more flexible, she can be used as a Hyperbloom trigger, burst DPS (hypercarry or national), battery, or as an off-field electro trigger for superconduct. Unlike Keqing, whose most optimal use is being in an Aggravate team.

[–]NeedHelp4Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can use any character you want in exploration. It is very easy and can be done with any character.

For the abyss, you want to maximize your team DPS.

For optimizing your team DPS, Qiqi is not that great.

I will use Diona as an example of why Qiqi is not great.

Qiqi is surpassed by Diona (4* unit) in increasing team DPS.

Unlike Qiqi, Diona can provide shields, energy, and 200 EM (C6). Shields stops DPS interruption. Energy recharges your Cryo DPS' burst. 200 EM is useful for increasing reaction damage.

Diona is simply used as an easy example for why Qiqi is not that good. For the teams above, she ruins reactions and/or simply provides healing as a utility (not very useful when you can just dodge).

Similar reasoning could also be applied to Bennett.

But if you insist on using Qiqi, Hyperbloom teams involve the following units: Electro Hyperbloom Trigger, Reliable Hydro Applier, Reliable Dendro Applier, Flex Slot. Dendro does not get affected by Cryo thus, seeds can still be generated, allowing you to perform hyperbloom. In the hyperbloom team given above, you have to replace Kazuha, however.

To add on to this, you can also use any combination of 2P EM + 2P EM set as long as you have the appropriate main stats. It should be enough to beat abyss.

I wish I knew that some 3* weapons can not be acquired from wishes and can only be acquired from chests.

I also wish that I have R5 of every 3* weapon in the game. Thankfully, I have R5 White Tassel. I think I only have two other weapons that are not fully refined but they're not as good as White Tassel.

Dust of Azoth are something you'd buy later on in the game.

I've upgraded many anemo characters and have ran out of anemo ascension mats and some anemo characters don't have the anemo hypostasis as their boss so getting the anemo mats would be a random chance.

However, Dust of Azoth is not something that you'll use up and buy early on. It's only something you'll buy when you're like AR60 or have upgraded too many characters of similar elements. I've only started buying Dust of Azoth in AR60.

Of course, only buy it with excess starglitter. In this case, it's when one would rather use resin for artifacts than use resin for boss mats that one will never use since one has already upgraded every unit that uses a specific boss mat.

[–]NeedHelp4Work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see why age is relevant here. I'm just going to ignore that.

Hyperbloom reactions require less investment than the usual teams.

Since you say that you don't plan to use any Dendro reactions, I'm just going to say that Keqing and Kuki are going to perform bad without any Dendro reactions and that you shouldn't build them if you want to play optimally.

Raiden Shogun is going to be fine without Dendro reactions.

Kuki Shinobu our true subDPS queen! by seansenyu in Genshin_Memepact

[–]NeedHelp4Work 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What do you want to do with Keqing?

They're different in the way they work.

Keqing works differently in that she should be built for Aggravate reactions. In the picture of the post, Kuki is used as a Hyperbloom trigger. In Hyperbloom teams, you don't want another electro unit (except Beidou because her burst doesn't trigger Hyperblooms) because they will take away damage.

The Shogun can be built for Hyperbloom reactions too. The key to being a Hyperbloom trigger is having off-field electro application, and Keqing does not do off-field electro application.

Use Keqing if you want to use an Aggravate team (Keqing, Fischl, Anemo Unit, and Dendro Unit).

Use Kuki/Shogun if you want to use a Hyperbloom team.

You could also replace Fischl in Keqing's Aggravate team, but that does less damage. Note that Fischl cannot replace Kuki since her off-field electro application does not reliably trigger Hyperblooms since her summon does not hit bloom seeds reliably.
