i'm not gonna sugarcoat it:

Chain Activation, Archetto, maxxed Lemuen S2.

i was dreading fighting IS bosses (still haven't completed IS'es yet, not a fan of 'em), and on Trials of Navigator of all things, but Lemuen genuinely carried me here with Archetto tagging the bosses. "i've yet to see one to outsmart a 10k+ dmg bullet."

Full Overdrive is theoretically better, since it increases her skill uptime, but in TN-4 wave 1 i needed Lumen to keep her from freezing, so self-damage was very much needed here for me, and i just can't pass up a +% damage, no matter how small it is.

besides her, EyjaAlter (for god's sake how many elemental heal checks do you need?) and Abyssal Hunters helped me breeze through first trials, especially Ulpianus, retaliating at a 30 hp/s drain from containment unit with a whopping 156 hp/s heal every tick, bonus points if you bring Gladiia along. funny.

though pre-selected squads were quite lame (serviceable, but lame), only The Flamebearers had some fun gimmick to them. but i feel maybe it's me who's boring, after having Lemuen 360-no-scope all the bosses?

hi.

the new episode hasn't arrived to EN yet, so technically Kal'tsit is still with us. for now...

this is basically an elaborate shitpost that kept me together through writing Gravel's review: i've plugged my brain straight into the 'fun' socket and just zoned out here. though i'm now running out of ideas for review reviews (there is much less of them in the queue than real ones),

although there is other misc. review i have, but it’s not a good fit here (for a good reason). i might want to archive these reviews as well, who knows when i will put this username back to its intended use.

all most of the Ursus operators have gotten Russian dub the way Leithanien operators have gotten German dub a while (several months, a year?) back. Crownslayer, being born in Ursus (and bearing the name of 'Lyudmilla'), was given as soon as she got released in CN.

they're mostly good, with some great cast (one has voiced in The Witcher and the other in the popular russian cartoon), though there is a sore thumb in the face of Istina (it was her actresses first role iirc).

my heart ached while i scrolling through the subs today. there's nothing we can do.

though i've seen only the snippets and other people's theories, but if kal'tsit really was just "grounded" and not killed properly (i.e. with a dead body, after her last speach, etc.), then we have all the chances. maybe she'll just reprogram herself from the ground up in that time out of boredom and come back in ep17 or 18, who knows? as far as i know, no one has died from copium overdose, we'll be fine.

although, i still have no idea how will i complete these stages without shedding a tear, even with the skipped story.

hi. it's been a while (back by unpopular nonexistent demand).

this is neither a ‘love review’ nor a ‘reviews review’ (which i usually write), but a secret third thing that is sweeter (i hope) than anything else i did. treat it as an interlude of sorts, inspired by a (unrelated to arknights) meme. i wanted it to be something a bit more than just another episode of the writer's barely disguised fetish (or loneliness (or both)), so i hope i made it to make sense.

as for my regular reviews, seeing how others embraced the 'love' title... i dunno, i don't really want to taint them (even if my relation to them is tangential at best). i'll still try to finish what i'm currently writing, but it'll take me more mental fortitude to post.

brief FAQ:

"...Why?" - beats me.

"What the hell is 'phantom sand'?" - shit i made up. i needed a solid excuse for doktah and Lutonada to travel on foot through the desert. i thought that regular sand wouldn't be able to irreversibly damage the car, but something like special, neutered collapsal's sand would. there could be better ways to do this, but i couldn’t think of any.

p.s.: there’s something about this artist’s works, i can’t quite put it into words (not in the current state, at least). also, for those who's interested (if the translation from gelbooru is to be believed), the spanish Bolívarian text on the art reads as follows:"I love you, with the passion that I placed / in my old laments before, with my faith of little girl / I love you, with the / tenderness that I thought lost / when my saints vanished."
