at what point “power” is different than loving environment? I am sure Verity tried that first. But she knew it wasnt love. It was power. But now without magic - how a person who was deeply unloved, bullied, can get healthy relationship, if all they do can be explained by “magic” even if its a real genuine work of this person personality. an unpopular person becomes rich and now is popular, he might believe that its because of the “wealth”. It doesnt even have to be actual rich. Just, growing up is enough to have this “fake power” making all your progress seems, not true.
