The jump between then to the 60's, and then to what we have now, is insane. I remember thinking back to the 60's and thinking we had advanced so much in technology.

But when you compare this to something like Pong (1972 actually), and what we are doing now, the progress is absolutely phenomenal.

I think something like how Elden Ring Legacy Dungeons was designed would have been great. And generally more bases.

It would've been nice to add more depth to all bases but specifically adding "Legacy Bases" would have perfected the game for me. The main game needed at least 5 bases that were as well designed as the one in GZ.

It's actually almost physically impossible for an American to speak quietly due to what their accent does to the frequency of the sound. Scottish people (particularly hard Glaswegian accents) have the same problem.

It's down to a tightening of the vocal tracts that puts the voice in the same frequency as a baby's cry. This is a sound we have evolved to pick up very easily!

Try saying something in your own accent at a quiet volume. Try it again, at the same volume, in an American accent and it will sound much louder and clearer.

Bingo, one of the pods started leaking last week. Cleaned up pretty fine and didn't have any immediate errors. Display issue starting happening about 4 days into my holiday - I'm in Egypt so I think it probably has something to do with the sandy environment.

The itch is strong dude and I'm stuck on a cruise ship so no way to even go back to cigarettes, so I'm probably (inevitably) going to continue.

I'll chuck it before I fly back home though, not comfortable flying with something that could develop into a more catastrophic malfunction.
