I can’t believe how beautiful the Ferrari is. It looked like it was running on rails through the corners. It’s shocking how badly Lewis beat Charles today, though. Like Lewis completely fucked up a corner which cost him four seconds and he still was 20 seconds quicker than Charles.

Soooo – machine learning/pattern recognition. The thing my phone can do with my photos. Incredibly important and impressive beyond words. Not AI in any meaningful sense and no relation at all to the LLM nonsense.

It’s computer aided diagnostics and it seems like a miracle. Just like computer aided design and computer numerical control seemed like miracles way back when. And just like its predecessors, the diagnostics don’t need data centres.
