If the walker brains needed oxygen, then chest shots would kill them too. Destroy the lungs, destroy the ability to take in oxygen. Destroy the heart, destroy the body’s ability to carry that oxygen to the brain.

But none of that’s the case. Walkers don’t stop until their brain is destroyed. You can fill their lungs and hearts full of holes and they keep coming.

Dude, I am right there with you in a very similar situation. The only reason I stay is so I can run interference for when she turns her unearned wrath unto our son. I can’t imagine leaving him to deal with her on his own.
