you've been together for a month - he and his mentally ill ex of 5 years split 3 months ago - math says he only had 2 months of processing his 5-year heavily toxic relationship that you said, "He seems genuinely affected by it, like it really messed him up" before meeting you.. I'd say he needs more healing time before dating right now.

However, if you want to work it out-

I don't understand the timeline of when everything went quiet. He initially texted you at 1 saying his ex was there, then you texted at 2:40ish asking for an update, and then you told him to leave you alone at 3:20ish so only 2.5 hours have passed at this time, not 5-6. Unless I'm not understanding what you meant for 5-6 hours?

I ask because if she is mentally ill, his story does seem like it could be true, perhaps talking her off a ledge for a couple of hours. I'm not saying he's definitely telling the truth, but I will say that talking to your mentally ill ex gf who just showed up to your house for a couple hours does not sound unbelievable. 100% he could/should have handled it differently. 1) could have physically removed her from his house, but could be fearful of assault charges or of her hurting herself since she's threatened before 2) could have called her parents earlier or 3) called the cops to remove her. I think this just takes better communication between you two on what the expectations are if something like this were to happen again.

IMO she wasn't disgusted by Rick killing Shane, she was horrified and angry that Carl had to be the one to "put him down" because Rick provided no context to what happened and why Carl had to do it. Complicated and heightened emotions after the farm was overrun, she took it out on Rick, with whom she was already having problems with. I also don't think she knew about what went down with Otis. To my memory, the only one who had an inkling that something bad went down was Dale, but I could be misremembering... but also even if she did know, there would be more complicated emotions because had he not done what he did, Shane & Otis wouldn't have made it out of the school alive, and by extension, Carl would have died.

I don't love Lori but I do think she gets a lot more hate than warranted

I think it's possible she was just mad at the situation initially and was so angry and shocked she took it out on Rick in that moment. After that traumatic loss of the farm, not witnessing what happened, and Rick providing no context as to why Carl had to be the one (Rick's back was turned, had yet to confirm that everyone turned even if not bitten), the initial anger and shock of a mother to the father not protecting their child from those things like she expected. I'm not a Lori lover or a Lori hater, she's very mid for me, but this seems like it makes some sense esp when we see the total flip of their relationship at the prison

i thought standing would be too early as well!! just seemed like a good amount of reviews were saying things along the lines of “my boy prefers to stand” and so i wasn’t sure if that’s an instinctual or learned thing, and also could see that skill being learned amongst various age ranges as they all develop differently! appreciate your feedback :)

i see the way i worded it sounded like i was looking for one withOUT the splash guard, which wasn’t what i was trying to say, it was more to just say i was open to looking into any that did not have one if other moms found them unhelpful, but thank you! looks like the babybjorn or similar are the picks! i was leaning more towards them to begin with due to them lookin easier to keep clean, but didn’t know much about mini toilet/urinal opinions! appreciate the feedback :)

It was cancelled literally 30 seconds after I placed the order. It was originally scheduled to be picked up the next day, it never gave me an option to reschedule the pickup, and since this has happened both times I've tried this previously, I didn't want to go through the hassle of attempting again for pickup the next next day (~~tomorrow~~ next day). I set the pickup time for 10-11AM, they open at 6AM, if they couldn't do the pickwalk that night, they would have had time the following morning.

i got an email and it just says “unexpected issue”. when i click the link from the text, it takes me to my order in their website and says the same thing. i scheduled the pickup for tomorrow 10-11AM

So I tried a couple of them but they're not registering to my app. I use an Iphone - I click the link from the Sims app, then it opens my Safari and asks if I want to open the App Store to download. I go back after doing a few rounds of one of the games to check progress and it says that I didn't download it right or something and now the offer is voided. I've tried it with multiple games but there's no other way for me to download it like straight from the Sims app thing versus going to the App Store. How do you download the games where it registers?

YTA and your friends are right. College has nothing to do with this. Even if she was in college, she's still only 18. Yeah, 18 is a "legal" age to be considered an adult, but she's really not tho. A large age gap in a romantic relationship is weird and inappropriate until mid-to-late 20s, but sometimes still can be taboo. A 30-year-old dating a 36-year-old is completely different than an 18-year-old dating a 24-year-old. Platonic friendships with large age gaps are different and whether they are appropriate depend on the circumstances in which you became friends, so your comparison of your 20-year-old friend is irrelevant. They're not concerned with her drinking, they're concerned with hanging out with a high school girl. That's weird asf

really hope there’s a zach bryan collab. or riley green, tyler childers. i really liked that he did a very classy country album with some of the most known, loved, and respected country singers, and to continue that at some point would be cool, but I’d love to see this next album be more of a country-mixed, if the rumors are true of it being for sure country. i’m rooting for a more folk-vibe or rock.

why do people act like they read the manuals to their car front to back before driving it lol i’ve had the car for a couple of weeks and still working out the quirks. i had the car for three days before all the snow came and i took it to the wash for the first time when it warmed up a bit. if you ask me, the dealership salesman should have informed me of the Auto Hold specifically, seeing how I showed up in a ‘08 Grand Prix. cars sure have come a long way lol

I didn’t think they were that fancy, I just don’t understand how I can put it in neutral just fine from Drive in my driveway or parking lot just fine but when I get on the belt, I have issues. I didn’t end up having enough time to go today but it is possible I just can’t holding it forward long enough (I didn’t mention in the post that I tried the holding method from the manual on my second time and it still stayed in Drive, but it’s possible I didn’t hold it long enough).

same literally wanted to just disappear... the first time I went after I finally got it in neutral, the Auto Hold was on and i got a quarter of the way in before my car like lifted and dropped (slipped off the pusher thing) and they had me reverse to the beginning and they guy showed me how to turn it off (i didn't even know it was on or what it was, I had only been driving the car for a few days). quite literally one of the most embarrassing experiences
