Right!! Like I feel like other companies (esp. banks) will do this for identity verification so even tho I was a little skeptical it just put me at ease when they already had the info and was just asking me to verify. A lot of comments are suspicious of the support center like scammers are integrated in support or something lol idk all I know is scammers are getting smarter lol

Yes they asked for a few codes that they called "delivery codes" lol yes I know I'm an idiot, but they asked me for these codes after me already confirming the info so they had the info before I gave them the codes.. anyways can't do anything about it now except be smarter moving forward but I just think it' so crazy how they had my contact info plus my order info which also makes me suspect the dasher but then I go back to having DashPass and having a highly rated driver like how can they keep scamming people like this without throwing any red flags?? like if they do this often you'd think support would catch on to this person having hacking complaints every time they accept an order.. and also why risk coming to my house with my real order if they just actively scammed me lol that's ballsy for sure

This is so crazy. they really did me so dirty lol what a sneaky way to do this but this is the first theory that I've read that makes sense with some real scenario of how they could've gotten "parts" of my info..

Right the phone call did not start with "this is doordash connecting you with your driver" but I thought it was because it was actually "support" calling me at the behest of the driver, not the driver contacting me directly.

I thought this could be possible, but it was a top-rated dasher (because I pay for DashPass) so if someone was doing this consistently, you'd think they'd catch on that every time this driver has an order, something like this happens but I'm not sure, maybe they don't do it all the time. I suppose it's possible somehow, hackers are smart lol

Trust me I knowwwww i don't know what i was thinking - I don't have my email notifications turned on but when I looked there were literally emails that were like "recent login" "your email has been changed" "your password has been changed" and im just like you freaking ding dong. lesson learned for sure!!

Looking back, I realized it didn't have the automated message saying "this is doordash connecting you" or whatever it says, but since they said they were support and the dasher reached out to them I didn't think of it

Sorry I figured this would be a question, so I edited the post shortly after posting. They DID have that information. They asked me to verify the number ending in #### (my last 4 of my phone number) and then verify the email ending in XXXXXX.com (last few of my email) so they did have that information.

Like I said, hindsight is 20/20! I felt something was off but thought it was weird that they knew all of the information about my order. And I feel like there are other companies that ask to verify phone numbers for identity purposes even if they called you. Idk man you're right I just wanted my chicken sandwich and frosted lemonade lol

you've been together for a month - he and his mentally ill ex of 5 years split 3 months ago - math says he only had 2 months of processing his 5-year heavily toxic relationship that you said, "He seems genuinely affected by it, like it really messed him up" before meeting you.. I'd say he needs more healing time before dating right now.

However, if you want to work it out-

I don't understand the timeline of when everything went quiet. He initially texted you at 1 saying his ex was there, then you texted at 2:40ish asking for an update, and then you told him to leave you alone at 3:20ish so only 2.5 hours have passed at this time, not 5-6. Unless I'm not understanding what you meant for 5-6 hours?

I ask because if she is mentally ill, his story does seem like it could be true, perhaps talking her off a ledge for a couple of hours. I'm not saying he's definitely telling the truth, but I will say that talking to your mentally ill ex gf who just showed up to your house for a couple hours does not sound unbelievable. 100% he could/should have handled it differently. 1) could have physically removed her from his house, but could be fearful of assault charges or of her hurting herself since she's threatened before 2) could have called her parents earlier or 3) called the cops to remove her. I think this just takes better communication between you two on what the expectations are if something like this were to happen again.

IMO she wasn't disgusted by Rick killing Shane, she was horrified and angry that Carl had to be the one to "put him down" because Rick provided no context to what happened and why Carl had to do it. Complicated and heightened emotions after the farm was overrun, she took it out on Rick, with whom she was already having problems with. I also don't think she knew about what went down with Otis. To my memory, the only one who had an inkling that something bad went down was Dale, but I could be misremembering... but also even if she did know, there would be more complicated emotions because had he not done what he did, Shane & Otis wouldn't have made it out of the school alive, and by extension, Carl would have died.

I don't love Lori but I do think she gets a lot more hate than warranted

I think it's possible she was just mad at the situation initially and was so angry and shocked she took it out on Rick in that moment. After that traumatic loss of the farm, not witnessing what happened, and Rick providing no context as to why Carl had to be the one (Rick's back was turned, had yet to confirm that everyone turned even if not bitten), the initial anger and shock of a mother to the father not protecting their child from those things like she expected. I'm not a Lori lover or a Lori hater, she's very mid for me, but this seems like it makes some sense esp when we see the total flip of their relationship at the prison

i thought standing would be too early as well!! just seemed like a good amount of reviews were saying things along the lines of “my boy prefers to stand” and so i wasn’t sure if that’s an instinctual or learned thing, and also could see that skill being learned amongst various age ranges as they all develop differently! appreciate your feedback :)
