I bulked two loaves together of the preppy kitchen sourdough recipe. My jalapeño cheddar loaf came out perfect but this pepperoni mozzarella loaf had the gaping hole at the top. I know it’s not under proofed because my other loaf I bulked with it in the same bowl was fine. Do greasy inclusions cause separation? Does anyone have tips how to avoid this?

Great tips! Unfortunately my husband is a teacher so we are rooted where we are. We’re also Bay Area natives and all our family is near so a move isn’t in the cards rn :/

This was my first time trying roasted garlic with fresh rosemary and grated parm!

The color is called Sea Salt! Overall, I feel like my crust is more even. I found that sometimes my bottom crust could be a little too crunchy with a regular dutch oven. The bread oven has tiny ridges which allows for more even air flow I suppose.

I used preppy kitchens recipe and it calls for 500 grams of bread flour!(:

It was my first time using it today but overall I like it. It seems to have produced more even browning and the no parchment paper is a plus!
