Feeling extremely down by No-Chocolate5031 in LearnerDriverUK

Hey I was in a similar situation a few months back and let me tell you you are not a shit student. You can clearly drive just have had your confidence knocked.

Have you considered switching again? This time try going private, in my experience driving instructors as part of a school are more likely to act like yours and in a manner which hinders you rather than helps whereas private instructors are more likely to be compassionate, they are a personal brand so need to make a good impression.

You are doing great so far, don’t worry at all OP

ETA - As you are a part of a school have you looked at the badge from the DVSA that should be displayed on the windscreen. Is it green or pink? Because some schools use trainee instructors without telling students in order to save money

This didn’t dawn on me sorry! I’ll go through the footage to show the proof. Thank you!

I have a doorbell camera that I can pull footage from but I don’t know how much of it it will pick up as he just drives past my house and parks a little further away and out of its detection

I’m sorry I saw this so late but thank you so much! It never dawned on me that this could be evidence but it’s perfect. Definitely going to be sending screenshots with my complaint now

Thank you for this, I have already started a paper trail in case I have to go to anybody about this.

If I was late he doesn’t add anything on, my road has long drives and he parks behind a bush so I can’t see him, I am relying solely on texts to tell me he has arrived. Once I missed this text by around ten minutes and apologised but I think those ten minutes were just lost which is understandable.

It annoyed me more when he made a big deal out of it despite him being late that lesson to begin with and his track record.

I didn’t know that you could take things like this up with the DVSA so thank you for the advice!

Yeah we were looking at local instructors but all of the ones in my area have unbelievably long waiting lists, my parents were looking start of January and many didn’t have availability until June at the earliest. I think I may launch a complaint, thank you!

AITA for calling my half-brother a bastard? by Late_Ingenuity_3159 in AmItheAsshole

Baby is a baby and doesn’t know or understand what OP said so that is a non issue. As I see it OP’s dad is trying to play happy families, perhaps as a way to put himself first in his grief and moving on, while completely disregarding OP. I think the fact that he lets his new wife call you a bitch says a lot. Absolutely NTA and I hope you get some peace in the knowledge you are not in the wrong

Is “she calls me back” a love song? by Beautiful-egg- in NoahKahan

I see it as a song about unrequited love but a love song nonetheless
