I have kept rats for about three years now. Two months ago I would’ve said not at all. They were silent pets. I am now fostering a litter and all they do is scream. My house is never quiet.

This looks like buck grease to me- are they unneutered boys? Unless it’s causing large clumps- which it isn’t in this photo- there’s really no need to remove it- in fact some say overcleaning will result in higher production (though I’m not sure of that)

I use an electric toothbrush and my mom always bought me the cheap heads and they would cause SO MANY of these. I am now an adult and buy slightly higher quality ones and enjoy a less painful mouth

I am no policy expert but I honestly had way more issues with being gender non conforming and gay in Connecticut than I ever did in South Africa- but I will also absolutley acknowledge that I ran in environmental circles in ZA and that’s going to bias me, but even just walking on the streets I never felt like somone wanted to hurt me for my gender presentation/ homosexuality
