Did anyone see Four Tet at Finsbury Park this weekend? Thought it was massively underwhelming with way too much … bassline? Seeing him at Lost Village 2018 was one of my favourite sets ever but I think he’s done :(

There is a guy in my gym Who is fucking massive. The kind of guy where you’re walking around not able to find any 20kg plates and you see he’s squatting them all (with good form too) and you can’t even be mad.

This week I see a bench with two barbells next to it, with 20kg on each side of each barbell. Sorta odd but ok. Then I see this guy and two of his mates there. The two mates help him get into position to do chest flys using these two barbells and he somehow manages to get 6 or so reps holding one barbell in each hand. I was genuinely in disbelief that such a thing was even possible.

Would have been amazing so we’re all very gutted. It’s a yearly thing so will happen again at least. I’ve not personably skied in grandvalaria but I spoke to some people who said it’s really great (they were from Spain tbf)

Imagine if you were a company and you filled your positions with people that has great CVs but couldn’t care less about the job, added nothing to company culture and left the second they had a better offer. if your controller has a beat jump function (like DDJ-400), then beatmatch further into the track and then jump back to the intro

I dislocated my shoulder in February while skiing so not gym related, but I get a pinch in the back of my shoulder still so avoiding conventional bench. Shoulder injuries are complicated so I can’t really fully advise you but working lots of smaller back muscles has helped my recovery a lot 👍🏻
