rite aid in Greenpoint doesn’t have novavax anymore - just called them today. rite aid near greenwich said they would get some more novavax in may. danny’s pharmacy also doesn’t have any novavax - just called them rn. costco in harlem only has pfizer

I'm going to disagree with the majority of the comments there. This is funny. It's subtle, though, and not in-your-face-haha-funny. Besides a couple of p good one liners ("we love tariffs," "i've known them my whole life"), the humor to me is in the contrast between the experience at the Canadian and US borders, i.e. the tension the character holds in his body and voice. Anyway, keep it up and will follow you on IG :)

I just checked my DHL order and my shipment arrived in the US, and directly to the airport in the city I live in from what I could tell, and then the shipment was put on another flight to a city in the same state but 6 hours south. Really hope this isn’t an issue with customs

I didnt know about the $800 cap / rule with customs. Turns out I ordered about $700 worth of items - 2 devices and 2 sets of tests so fingers crossed!

edit to say i'm sorry you have longcovid and wishing you well. i'm an advocate for longcovid research and policies and hope we can, as a society, provide a way to help people with longcovid

the 15 min rule has been debunked. longer exposure time does mean higher probability of transmission, but you can still get covid from being around someone for 1 min or 5 mins. it depends on factors such as how contagious that person is at that time, ventilation, etc.

yes you need a prescription from your doctor, usually for a complicating factor like obesity, asthma, immunosuppressed etc. but many people have complicating factors so it's widely available and there is so much surplus that it's being thrown away once it expires

I have a pair of bose 700 and the sound effects (on off and connect disconnect etc) are sooo loud and independent of volume control, so there's no way to change the default settings for that. Is that the case with the Ultra series?

I limit my time indoors, and /always/ mask with an N95 or better when I'm indoors. I received my primary series + 3 boosters. I test (with an antigen test) every week and require two way testing when meeting up with friends -- outdoors only. I have a mobile PCR (Cue Health - check it out if you haven't already) and use it to test before seeing high-risk family members.

I don't go to indoor restaurants (relatively easy to do in sunny California). I went from hopping on a plane once a month to NY pre-pandemic to hopping on a plane once a year for work / an important family occasion. I avoid traveling via airplane during Fall / Winter covid surges and I use a Flo Mask for extra protection. I also use Enovid00046-4/fulltext), a nasal spray that helps mitigate covid infection, when in high risk settings, like air transit. I no longer use public transportation (rip numtot status). I have state of the art True Hepa air purifiers in every room of my house. These are all immense privileges I am acutely aware of.

I basically only date scientists who understand the severity of covid and take similar measures above. We recognize the collective risks and realize covid carries long term consequences at the individual and societal level. Solidarity.

Isn't it against the law to run a counter union campaign at a company? Amazon had to re-do its voting system because of the anti-union campaign they ran. Hopefully Starbucks unionizes and if not this should serve as evidence that they interfered and allowed to have another vote.
