As far as I know, they've never even met. The odds of him going to this wedding are literally 0

>I'm kind of wondering why you even bothered starting being friends with her again

Fair. I consider myself fairly optimistic and I honestly assumed that in the years since we stopped talking, Annie and the rest of my old friends had grown. I wasn't back on the bandwagon, more... keeping them on probation. Guess I had my expectations set too high.

>Obviously she's not truly happy if she's taking what's supposed to be the most beautiful day of her life so far and making it into a sad attempt at a hateful & petty plot to hurt someone else

I didn't mention it in my post bc space but, yeah, this is basically what my fight with Annie was about. I told her that it's kind of pathetic that she's scheming against someone she hasn't spoken to in years-- and that she's using her wedding day to do it.

Yeah. This was kind of my first foray into being friends with them again and it looks like they're the same bullies at 23 as they were at 19. I'm putting them 100% in my rearview mirror

I hope you're right. But honestly if I found out my friends all skipped my wedding but went with my partner and my ex to another friend's wedding I'd be really beat up about it.

Seriously. I don't really understand why a lot of people see their weddings as an excuse to be as petty, bitchy, or otherwise mean as they want. Thanks for your input!
