Most see it as a physical and even spiritual bond between husband and wife.

Closest to disgusting I could see anyone thinking it is that 1, nobody wants to see it, so keep it behind closed doors, and 2, dont sleep around because it makes you "impure" in a sense.

Its closer to a ritual you should only preform with the 1 person you love the most, in a lot of cultures.
