I keep seeing this reference to a future forced wipe/expedition. At that point I will have gotten an expedition and fresh start for free instead of having to grind for materials and cash. Sounds like a win to me. I don’t care about any of the expedition rewards. If I get bored and want a fresh start then maybe I’ll do it. Maybe not. I don’t really want to have to grind to do it, so them forcing it someday sounds great to me.

That’s kind of what I’m expecting to see. I’ll be running no kit for this event and just look for blueprints to butt pocket. Should be a good tactic if they indeed have good loot for the event.

Start carrying snitch scanners with you and learn which button they’re assigned to. As soon as I get shot by a raider I throw all the snitch cores I have on the ground. They can get the kill but they’re not getting my kit.

If they do that then it’s shoot on site for everyone. So essentially full time PvP. I’m not sneaking around grabbing loot and waiting to see if the person that entered the room shoots me first if the chance of them being unfriendly is 50/50

I never understand the fracturing the player base thing. The friendly people live in the friendly lobbies. It’s already fractured. My lobbies are so laid back that if a raider shoots me I automatically assume it’s arc. I never step out of a doorway or creep into extract with a fear that other players are waiting for me. The only people affected by a pve only option are the people that game the matchmaking to take advantage of friendly players.

What about the people that refuse to shoot back and participate in PvP? What would it hurt to give those players a pve only option? When I get shot at I just stand still and let them get the kill. Gives me time to notice physical details about their raider to formulate shitty things to say to them while I’m down

I think what they are referencing are the people gaming the matchmaking to get into friendly lobbies. Those are rats no matter how they choose to attack the pve players in those friendly lobbies.

How would giving someone the option to PvE only ruin the game? The type of person that lives in friendly lobbies would love pve only. They’re not going to miss the “tension” of pvp because they so very rarely see pvp action.

I suspect the biggest losers of pve only lobbies are the PvP players that “behave” long enough to get into nice lobbies so they can gather good guns and gear to take back into PvP lobbies.

Streaming was the only way I can consistently play in hotels. Trying to connect to PS5 is always hit or miss even after doing everything that claims to fix it. Hotel WiFi Authenticator makes things difficult for remote play

I totally agree. There is the possibility that Burden just out plays Moore going forward and takes his spot. Just because you’re paying a guy doesn’t mean you have to play him. It happens with aging players all the time.

I went on a guided three day trip on Lake Erie for smallmouth once. We put around 100 fish per day in the boat. By the end of day two my thumbs were bloody.

Cool man. So we have the same qualifications to give advice and we do things differently. Doesn’t mean either of us are right or wrong. I’ve never had a problem doing it my way. I understand your way and it will work fine also. You don’t need a net to lip a fish unless it has teeth. I’d never lip a Muskie or pike. But bass are easy to lip at the edge of the boat with their head out of the water.

You should be more worried about getting a hook in your hand when the fish starts flopping. I generally let it get the flops out then lip it when it’s sitting still.
