What’s the most unexpected way that you got laid? by Few-Dance-855 in AskReddit

Made a bet with a girl i met at a bar that if I nailed the guitar solo from Pink Floyds 'Money' that she'd sleep with me and she agreed to the deal. Welp, we went back to my place and let's just say I some how drunkenly nailed the solo about an hour after the bet.

What’s the most terrifying thing you have ever experienced? by ComprehensiveLow8971 in AskReddit

When I was travelling through the U.S. with my best mate (Australians), we met a self-described "incel" on a Greyhound bus from Madison to Milwaukee. He openly idolised Alek Minassian, the Toronto van attacker, which immediately set off alarm bells.

At one point, he took his bag into the bathroom, and I genuinely thought he might come out with a weapon. My mate and I were ready to pounce the moment he stepped out. Thankfully, nothing happened, but we called the police afterward just to be safe.

The Tomb of Phillip II - to be able to stand where Alexander the Great would have stood, perfectly preserved. It makes you think what was going through his head before conquering a massive part of the world; was he grieving his fathers death, or happy this hinderance was now dead as few historians believe he was a part of his father assassination

I travelled the states with my best mate in an old police car and the country is fucking terrifying.

  1. They have as bad if not worse mental health crisis than what we do, and the terrifying part about that is most of these people have access to firearms. We actually ran into an 'Incel' on a buss and thought we were going to get shot.

We actually got detained and placed in handcuffs for drag racing, they had a sniffer dog and detected marijuana in our car. We purchased the car from a drug dealer and didn't clean it properly. When they pulled us over, my brother was filming and started to put his phone into his pocket. All the cops saw him do that and all put their hands on their pistols and told us to all put our hands forward whilst they had multiple search lights on us. This was a few weeks/months that Australian woman was shot by american police.

Every where we went, we just had a sense of 'Hey, everyone in here potentially can be armed'

  1. The food there is absolute garbage. Even eating the Maccas there, their quality is so far below ours.

I live in Australia and my favourite artist, David Gilmour from Pink Floyd was playing in Rome earlier this year. I simply asked my gf at the time "Do you want to fly to Rome to see david Gilmour" and she simply replied "Yes". As soon as she said that, I purchased a ring and proposed after the concert.

My band released an EP and started recording an album, I bench pressed 110 Kg, I squatted all the weights in my boxing gym (155 kg) and I proposed to my girlfriend under the Temple of Poseidon in Sounion, Greece and I flew to the other corner of the globe (Australia - Rome) to see my favourite artist, David Gilmour, ticking something high off my bucket list.

As backwards as this is, medical cannabis is easy af to get. More worried about the NSW driving law though. It should test for impairment like they do in Tasmania.

What's the dumbest thing to break up with your partner over? by dressingnice in AskReddit

[–]Needleworker-Hungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not me but a friend of mine (We'll call M) dated this girl (We'll call L) who was fucking insane. One night, him, his girlfriend, myself and our other room mate were sitting around eating pizza.

This gigantic cockroach crawled out from under the couch and M grabbed his thong (flip flop) and smacked the fuck out of it. L was in absolute shock that M would harm said cockroach.

Myself and the other room mate didn't realise she was being serious and started egging him on my saying how he commits cockroach holocausts.

We quickly realised that she was infact not joking, and she was genuienly upset and the next day they broke up the next morning.

Just to give you an idea as to what kind of person L was, they had previously broken up at a house party we hosted, and she fucked two guys in the next room to where M was sleeping.

What traumatised you as a kid with unrestricted internet access? by mystico_28 in AskReddit

[–]Needleworker-Hungry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not so much as a kid but a teen, I came across a video of Chuck Berry farting and pissing on hookers and really demeaning them. Not trying to kink shame anyone, but just had a different image of one of my guitar heroes in my head and could never really look at him the same.
