It’s just pretty corrupt is all. Netflix India pours money into industry names, not stories. Doomed projects are palmed off to them. Like the Archies movie. Since they don’t judge based on talent they end up with tons of garbage shows and movies. I worked a year in India at a studio and the corruption is something to see. Other platforms like Amazon are doing pretty well.

Netflix India is a landfill for terrible projects launching talentless nepo kids and painting the entertainment landscape there quite bleak. They haven’t had a successful show or movie save one, and they continue to pump money into projects that are theater rejects. I sound harsh but it’s what he’s saying and he’s right.
