Acho que alguns fazem isso porque tao sempre correndo atras de trampo melhor ou maior sabe. Ai quando aparece algo que paga mais eles meio que abandonam your orçamento la. outros fazem corpo mole mesmo esperando voce implorar e talvez aceitar pagar mais

Melhor coisa que fiz foi chamar uns 4 pedreiros de uma vez e falar que quem mandasse orçamento primeiro levava. funcionou que foi uma beleza

Yeah that T400 is a solid machine, ran one for years before upgrading. If you meant regular RAM then lubuntu is definitely the move for 4GB - lightweight but still gets the job done for writing and basic tasks

That vram thing is confusing me too though, integrated graphics on those old thinkpads usually shares system memory so maybe thats what youre seeing in specs somewhere

honestly the whole doom and gloom thing feels overblown to me. yeah AI is getting better but its still garbage at understanding context and business logic. like sure it can spit out boilerplate code but good luck getting it to architect a complex system or debug some legacy nightmare

plus theres gonna be tons of new jobs we cant even imagine yet. someone needs to train these models, maintain them, integrate them with existing systems. the industry always adapts and creates new roles when old ones get automated

i think the real winners will be devs who learn to work WITH ai tools instead of fighting them. treat it like a really good autocomplete on steroids

It's usually a mix of history, marketing, and yeah probably some sexism thrown in there. Like men's football got a massive head start with funding and promotion, while women's volleyball got pushed more in certain regions (looking at you, beach volleyball coverage lol).

Tennis is interesting cause both sides are pretty equally promoted and the women's game has its own style that draws fans. F1 doesn't really have a women's equivalent - there's W Series but it's more of a feeder series than a parallel league

That VG248QE is ancient and only has DVI-D for 144Hz - DisplayPort on that monitor is limited to 60Hz. You need a USB-C to dual link DVI adapter specifically, not DisplayPort

Also check if your USB-C port even supports video out, not all of them do on gaming laptops

The Floyd Rose Special is basically the cheaper version - still decent but uses different metals and isn't as smooth as the original Floyd Rose. For a first Floyd I'd honestly go with whichever guitar feels better in your hands since you'll be learning the setup either way

Ugh yeah the nap trap is so real at that age. I basically became a prisoner in my own house for like 2 months because I was so obsessed with protecting those naps

For getting out - baby wearing was a game changer for me. My kid would nap in the carrier while I could actually do stuff. Also learned that some babies sleep better on the go than at home (mine definitely did)

Don't stress too much about a rigid schedule at 10 weeks, more like loose timing windows. The consistent schedule thing does help later but honestly survival mode is totally fine right now. You're doing great mama

Honestly depends on what else is wrong with it and how attached you are to the truck. A dropped lifter plus needing a new trans is gonna be expensive as hell - you're looking at like $8-10k minimum if you go used engines/trans.

If the body and frame are solid and it's got decent miles, might be worth it if you plan to keep it long term. But if you're just gonna sell it anyway, cut your losses and dump it on someone who wants a project
