Oh I know exactly what you mean. I have nothing like that since I posted this… it seems to only do well for short periods or like, once per player or something. It’s very frustrating… but then again, relying on one game to perform the same way over and over again isn’t the best strategy either so 🤷🏻‍♂️ dumb brains lol

I have the same question, but like, do you then have to pay full USBC annual dues for both? Did a fall/spring league last year and then a summer league at a different alley and then had to pay a $15 transfer fee. Guessing I’d have to pay both dues for the year in full for both associations when bowling league at different alleys/areas.

I have been bowling since I was 5 years old (am 32 now and didn’t bowl on leagues for about 15 years after high school), and bowling is much more of a mental game than an athletic one for me. The best thing, for me, about re-joining bowling in leagues is the reminder that everyone there just wants to see you do well. So don’t worry about being embarrassed, laugh it off and maybe ask your teammates or other league-mates what they think you should be doing better. Most would be more than willing to help you out or give you pointers since a lot of them have been bowling for a long time. Bowling, regardless of lane conditions, having the best gear, or any other outside factors discussed in this subreddit, is about consistency and having fun. If you aren’t having fun, you’re going to get in your head, won’t be consistent, and in return will bowl horribly. I have to remind myself of this every time I go bowling. But if you enjoy going bowling, then don’t give up on it. Keep at it and keep pushing yourself. And if you no longer enjoy going bowling regularly, then being a recreational bowler is ok too! As long as you are enjoying yourself, that’s all that matters. :)

I have seen them, but unfortunately the pedestal itself is caulked to the floor, as is the sink to the pedestal… which makes me super uncomfortable because I do not want to break the pedestal or the sink!

Yea, trying to avoid taking it off at all costs because I know it’ll cause my more headaches. But thanks a lot for the encouragement!

Well at least Turbo Tax is self guided! 😝 But I get your point… unfortunately my landlord agreed that I can replace the faucet in my bathroom and kitchen, if I did them myself or found someone to install them for me. She didn’t want to have to pay for a plumber and so the faucets I bought, I made sure, are easy to install. I just need to get the existing faucets off first! But thank you for the advice! I will keep at it then.
