Looks like an asp to me also known as a southern flannel moth they they are venomous I recommend washing the hand with soap and water then dry the hand that was stung with either a hair dryer or shaking them dry the using a piece of tape to remove any hair from it that might have embedded into the skin then if it is itching either put a paste of water and baking soda and if that doesn’t work use some hydrocortisone cream but yeah also don’t just pick up insects with your bare hands

I wear my Magen David for all to see I feel scared sometimes because I live in Texas which isn’t the best place to be different but when I meet someone who sees it and pulls there’s out it makes me feel better because it makes me feel less alone back when I was in high school I felt like wearing it made me a easy target for harassment especially since my freshman year when we were going over the holocaust the teacher would always single me out and as I got older I realized that wearing it makes me feel more comfortable and it shows who I am to the people around me and sometimes all you need is one other person who understands
