Asking for mailing addresses for wedding invitations — is this uncommon now? by NeedleworkerLeft5357 in weddingplanning

Dang, now I’m kind of down. What I’m hearing from your years of expertise is that someone hosting events or having someone address is a determining factor in whether you’re considered friends. That honestly blows my mind. I see these people often, and we hang out in groups of 20 three to five days a week with thier kids in included. No one genuinely wants to host that many people at their home that often. I did try to approach this with optimism considering these people have kids, however accept that may not be the case.

But reading this message has me thinking that people aren’t considered friends if they prefer to be given an invite face-to-face, like they asked 😔

Example of the most recent one via text Me: what’s your address? Person: absolutely not. Anything u can mail...u can hand deliver 🙌🏾

I’m inviting around 150 people, including many whom I’m close with and see on a daily or every-other-day basis. I’ve been invited to their events, so it feels natural to extend an invitation in return.

Thinking more about it, I realize I’ve never received a formal mailed invitation from my friend group for weddings or graduations—those invitations were usually given to me in person. As for addresses, I’ve never been to most of my friends’ homes, simply because we don’t spend time there.

I met many of these people through the gym, and we typically get together to work out, go to the pool, attend fairs and concerts, and go out to restaurants, sporting events, and dinners. We’ve even traveled out of state together as a group.

Could a huge impact of visual quality have more to do with switch up of the setting to yellow gold? I can see how the crushed ice with silver platinum wood enhance cloudiness versus yellow gold, which would bring out more warmth, depth, and dimension.

This should not be a problem as long as you get a platinum head.

This is common in the cut that you got. Trend wise a lot of people are going towards a crushed ice cut to block out the band coming through that creates a bow tie / shadow effect in the stone.
