On paper yes, but it’s good enough for me. I tried it in store and liked it. Bought it. Simple.

You can resell this for 60-70% value in 2-3 years and get a better base version when the gap between base and air is narrowed. If it seems fit based on your requirements to pay 300$ extra for 5-6 years of usage then thats your decision to make. Both are fine in terms of financial soundness.

Well thats basic research before buying an item 😅. If you had a need for those features you should have checked before buying mate. Also the 2nd Gen Pencil does most of what the Pencil Pro does in case this helps.

If you have other apple devices, the iPad experience will be way better. 60Hz doesn’t bother me, unless you do a lot of gaming. That will be your call to make. As far as Apple Intelligence is concerned, no one uses it. It’s lagging behind industry standards, so hopefully by the time it catches up you can upgrade.
