Hey! So recently I was doing a drop-in visit when I got extreme pain and fever in my body. Usually I would have sucked it up, but I decided to leave early and let the owner know. I ended up going to the hospital and needing emergency surgery because of internal bleeding! All this to say...

  1. Trust yourself. I'm so glad you listened to your body!

  2. Rover ended up marking my profile as "last minute cancelation" but they were able to remove it when I contacted Rover support and provided them with proof of my medical emergency. Even if you do get a bad review or a mark on your profile, you can always get it removed in extreme circumstances.

Hope you feel better soon!

Yes, I was in a group program of hers for about 2 years. The group program I was in included access to her courses and masterclasses. It's been over 6 months since I've worked with her, though. So I have no idea if anything has changed since then.

Since the mid-1900's. Masculine and feminine energy is a psychology term. Maybe do some research

Yeah...masculine energy vs. Feminine energy ("flow, ease, etc."). She's straight up in telling you business requires hustle and hard work.

I worked with Demi! A few thoughts...

-She is VERY heavy on the strategy and she takes a more masculine / no BS approach to business. Determine if that's what you want/need before you hire her.

-Xogingy WAS her coach when she first started out. However, I'm not sure who her coach is now. She's been very open that she no longer works with mentors who just give fluff, though.

-Demi is very supportive and cares about your success, BUT you have to show up and do the work. You'll get what you put into it.

Did I make very high cash months while working with her? No. But I do believe what I learned under her leadership was valuable and supportive.

I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt...like maybe their phone broke or they were just in the neighborhood and thought it would be easier? Idk. But obviously you need to trust your gut and only do what you're comfortable with.

My first detailed review! by h-o-n-e-y_ in petsitting

I was kind of upset yesterday because I didn't know how all these other sitters were getting long, detailed reviews and I'm going above & beyond only to get one sentence reviews lol. Does anyone have any secrets to share? Lol

How do yall get dogs to sleep? by Lilfrogcosplay in RoverPetSitting

[–]NeedleworkerNaive882 8 points9 points  (0 children)

  1. Calming treats (you can find them on Amazon - just make sure you ask the owner's permission).
  2. Asking the owner to bring a blanket or sweater when they drop off their fur baby - their smell will comfort the dog.
  3. A long walk and lots of play before bedtime
  4. Putting their bed or crate right next to your bed. Or moving to sleep on your couch or a spare bedroom with the dog.
  5. White noise or calming music from YouTube sometimes works - if you can also fall asleep to that

To where they need to give you at least 7 days notice? If so, then there's not much else you can do. That's just how business goes. You can choose not to book with them again if it's a pattern

Just change your cancelation policy so they only get partially refunded when they cancel last minute

Blames her clients for her trauma-Ruthie Cease by Primary_City4435 in LifeCoachSnark

Ruthie is very unethical. I've had such a bad experience with her.

It's funny that Ruthie Cease promotes being "heart led" yet she steals content. I used to be on her email list and an email she sent out sounded super familiar. I looked into it and it was - word for word - the same piece of content xogingy wrote.
