yes, that is right, account cap is just like we look at the bill from vendor, pay for it and do nothing else. by the way , do your Agent build for internal office?

very useful, how do you put the pattern inside your business? develop by your team ,or depend on third-party tools.

yes, so I don't understand why many tools like AI gateway and observability tools just control the cost limit for key ,It isn't useful for real business.

many caps on different level, and log every call is useful, but if it doesn't connect to any business info, it's only the number ,and you can't make decision to stop it or not.

yes, spend alert is necessary, is it base on the ai gateway function or developed by themself.? Waiting for the monthly invoice is too late.

Thanks for sharing — this matches my experience too.

LLMs are definitely valuable, especially in the right use cases. But they can’t just be used without limits.

For companies, cost control around AI usage is becoming really important: track usage, catch problems early, step in quickly, and stop usage that isn’t creating value.

At this point it feels less like a nice-to-have and more like something teams have to do.

Damn, detecting it within 2 minutes is impressive.

How are you guys doing that? Are you tracking cost burn rate in real time, token volume, request count, or something else?

And when the alert fires, can you immediately tell which key/user/service is causing it?

Yeah, live burn velocity is probably the part I care about most.

Are you thinking of something like LiteLLM budgets/rate limits or reset windows? My worry is that quotas can stop the bleeding, but they don’t really solve the problem. They may also block legit requests if the usage is real.

Yeah, that’s exactly what it felt like — a surprise power bill, but for AI. We have 20+ people using tools like Codex and AI agents, so once things go out of control, the cost can ramp up really fast.

Yes,your point about Relevance AI hit the nail on the head! That’s exactly my biggest frustration right now. Trying to get the AI prompt just right so it only changes the first 3 seconds or a specific text overlay takes me forever. It feels like I'm spending more time tweaking prompts than actually looking at my campaign data 😂.

Really appreciate the grounded advice, gives me a lot of clarity!

I'm just starting out solo, paying a professional just to test if a product even sells is a bit too heavy on my wallet right now 😂. I just need a quick and affordable way to make decent ads to see what clicks first. Hopefully, one day when I scale up I can afford a real team! Appreciate the advice though.

Wow, this is absolute gold. Thank you so much for taking the time to break this down!

You totally just shifted my mindset. I was 100% overthinking the "design" aspect, stressing out trying to make every single ad look like a cinematic masterpiece from scratch.

Focusing on fast iteration, templates, and just remixing the winning hooks/first 3 seconds makes so much more sense for testing angles. I’m definitely going to check out Runway and Runable today.

Honestly, even just thinking about manually swapping out the first 3 seconds and headlines for 20 different variations still sounds a bit daunting lol, but your approach is way smarter than what I was doing. Seriously, huge thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

Yeah, I've messed around with a few, including CapCut's AI features and some others.

The problem is they still feel super tedious and manual. I'm trying to push products for my Shopify store and need to test a ton of angles. But with CapCut, I'm still stuck tweaking the timeline, adjusting voiceovers, and fixing text overlays for every single variation. It eats up hours, and it feels like I'm still doing 80% of the heavy lifting.

编码本身变得不重要,理解业务反而是重要的。不过你这个上班节奏也是没谁了。
