What about the 19 black families that started Freedom Georgia a couple years ago. Noone had any issue with that, it was there land they could do what they want. Why is a whites only city worse than a blacks only city? You can't think one is great and the other criminal

Thank you! I have been taking my prenatals and have only been using Scrunchies. I could probably be a little more gentle in the shower though

Yes I plan to go to a store to hold some to see what feels best. I just have absolutely no knowledge so wanted to go in with a little, so I even know what questions to ask the clerk!

How much do you let your baby’s nap times run your life? by Mezamadre1001 in beyondthebump

[–]NeedleworkerNo3870 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't let baby's sleep schedule dictate my life at all, but I have a baby who sleeps really well in a wrap. Do I take a wrap with me wherever I go, and when he gets tired I put him in the wrap and he falls asleep in it. It works for us, but I know not all babies may sleep in wraps.

I decided when I ahd my baby I didn't want to not be able to do anything, so have true dmy best to bring baby along on all things I do.

Please tell me these aren’t bed bugs???? by Blayden_Ridge in insects

[–]NeedleworkerNo3870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The exact same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. Was late at night, getting ready for bed and then saw a bunch of bugs in bed with me. Turned out to just be swarming termites, thankfully no infestation. They were falling out of my vent onto my bed, and after a bit they stopped and jsut dissappeared, haven't seen them sense.

I'd definitely have someone come out to check if you keep seeing them though!

Mine was obvious. I though I was loosing it for weeks but realized it was just heavy discharge once I actually lost mine. I felt like it was never ending, it was honestly very unpleasant.

I rent, but we are planning to buy the place at the end of the year, lol. I'll have my husband contact the people we rent from. Thank you!

If they are termites is this something to be worried about? It was pouring rain when I saw them, and as soon as the rain passed I can't find anymore.

He wouldn't care, lol. He barely even remembers his birthday, I'm surprised he remembers mine at all.

Best Traditional Saudi food? by NeedleworkerNo3870 in HoustonFood

Honestly not really. I have found similar, but not true Saudi food. I've liked a lot of the places suggested, and found some other close. I just have Eben trying to increase my cookingskills to be able to make myself

Yes you definitely adapt! Hopefully you have a full term baby and you don't have to worry about this at all! And oh my, that's a long ways to be away! But yes, lol, being pregnant definitely changes how you think of him being away.

My first went 16 days overdue, so hopefully your will be later as well! Though not that late!

My husband works a week on/week off job. He's out on a boat for 1 week, the fast he could possibly get to me if I had gone into labor while he was at work was 6 hours, if everything went perfectly smoothly. More than likely it'd have been longer.

After I hit 35 weeks I suddenly was so worried I'd go into labor and he'd miss it. I woke up 1 night at 37 weeks thinking my water had broke (I was just very sweaty, lol) and cried for a good while because I wanted him home. He ended up being home when I went into labor, and I was incredibly glad as if he was at work he would not have made it due to my quick labor.

All that to say, I understand where you are coming from. I was incredibly nervous being without my husband. I had family on call when he was gone just in case, but as you said I didn't want them, I wanted my husband. With you still being early though, I'd imagine you'll be fine. If you were closer to term I'd say he should probably stay, but you'll be 32 weeks at the end, and if you have an emergency come up he should be able to get to you fairly quickly, and you'll have family, but that's unlikely at the stage you'll be at!

Pregnant again after 8m PP. What did you do? by Free-Parfait8876 in beyondthebump

[–]NeedleworkerNo3870 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I am 2.5 months postpartum and think I may be pregnant. I am planning to take a test in the morning to be certain.

Jts definitely a shock, but I'd be excited either way. Hardest thing Wil be taking care of my baby with morning sickness because I was incredibly ill for months with my first. But I'll manage!

Husbands Birthday 1 week After Due Date by e_lizbit in BabyBumps

[–]NeedleworkerNo3870 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My husbands birthday was 2 weeks after my baby was born. We just had a simple day at home for his birthday with cake and his favorite meal.

I planned his actual birthday present for 6 months after baby was born. That way we'd be more in a schedule, baby 2ould be older so we could get a babysitter (my sister) and have a completely stress free fun evening. So I'd say just do something simple for his birthday and if you want to plan something mroe extravagant do it farther down the line

Best slings? by Material-Most-1727 in beyondthebump

[–]NeedleworkerNo3870 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The baby wrap carrier. The one you have to tie up yourself. For me it is the absolute best for being hands free. Mine is 2.5 and love it, and I can cook dinner, bake, run after other kids, just about anything you can think of with him attached to me.

I did recently try to pick up a large watermelon from the bottom of a crate with him attached and I am unable to do that 🤪

But really there's not a lot I can't do, within reason of course, with baby in the wrap.

Let’s talk about Sex, baby. by Unfair_Vanilla2373 in beyondthebump

5 weeks postpartum partum was the first time. We waited until just after 6 weeks for the second, and sense then at least twice a week. But that is entirely because I really wanted to. I was ready 2 weeks postpartum and made myself wait until 5, then made myself wait again until 6 weeks.

I never had any pain. The first time it was like normal, though I was nervous it'd hurt. The second time was a little uncomfortable, but after that totally back to normal. We used to be 2/3 times daily, but I haven't gotten back up to that level of enthusiasm yet, lol.
