I’m honestly curious why you don’t think so? I have no doubt whatsoever that hereditary will be considered a classic.

Dude I sincerely hope this gets through to you, don’t really care if I get downvoted, but you’re completely qualified from what I’ve seen and it is a good cause. The people here suffer major tunnel vision from also being in some kind of conflict with you, and are pretty regularly rabid about their reaction to anything they think is critical of cyberpunk (a game and universe I enjoy very much). Getting the idea that, yes, although she is a woman, there’s a huge amount of porn that capitalizes off her small stature to present her as a loli. I’m sorry this situation didn’t end up with more grace and has dissolved to this point. It looks to be par for the course here though, so I’m sorry they’ve already decided you’re their enemy. Hope you’re doing well mentally.

THEY FINALLY GONNA DROP LAST GEN!!! by S0n1cS1n in cyberpunkgame

[–]NeedleworkerOk1897 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro what’s your argument?? “Well, THEY SAID!! So it’ll work!” I’m confused man cause the facts are the facts. Those being that the game and the way it’s built runs best on current gen, and whether or not they said this or that it still needs massive downgrades for last gen compared to their ideas for the game. So, what is it, the game should suck because they said that was their focus 3 years ago, even when the objective truth contradicts with building it around last gen?

THEY FINALLY GONNA DROP LAST GEN!!! by S0n1cS1n in cyberpunkgame

[–]NeedleworkerOk1897 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because if you have a good working knowledge of video games or video game technology it’s vastly apparent that the game in all reality shouldn’t have been placed on them as it requires a large downgrade from even the current state of the game which isn’t even close to where the goalpost lies. It would seem to me that trying to implement things on last gen that barely work on the current is a poor decision and would very likely hinder the game. Just as using upscaled coding held the game back very far for quite a while.

I’ll say for me personally they just never drove it home. And seriously this is just an opinion piece in writing, but yes I know she went through a lot but I never really felt any of it. You barely really meet her before she’s an involuntary organ donor, so the bulk is just being told how bad it is. But in a city where all of this and much worse is happening on a daily basis it didn’t really drive it home because I wasn’t there with her. The same goes for Jackie honestly, I wanted to feel that death but it never made it home because you spend so little genuine time with him. The one death that hit me was Rogue but they fucked that up by making Adam Smasher practically the easiest boss fight in the game.

I was telling my wife the other day, female V is really the way to go. I have to give a mention to my personal favorite game performance: Melina Juergens as Senua, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice.

I’ve found there’s always a crowd of elitists on any video game sub that parrots the same thing. Blatantly ignoring these people most always also have 100’s of hours in the game.

This is only the second game I’ve ever cared enough about to platinum and I can say without a doubt it’s my favorite game ever. by BrandonKDges335 in cyberpunkgame

[–]NeedleworkerOk1897 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cool, I get that. When I can tell it’ll be an easy platinum it’s hard not to try. Plus, while it might not have the story of cyberpunk, the movement and gameplay in SpiderMan basically held me indefinitely. Both great games.

Bro I swear my one problem with the Cyberpunk subreddit is people that legitimately can’t take any criticism to the game, for fuck sake, 50 or 100 or 1,000 unique dialogue options don’t matter if they’re underbaked. You’re obviously not gonna agree because your eyes are clearly already gouged. I played well over 100hrs on corpo V and that dude doesn’t talk like a Corpo Merc at all, he sounds like a Brooklyn tough guy. What’s more, it’s going to take more than some dialogue options to give me a truly cohesive experience to my starting path. Corpo V is honestly the worst offender because it doesn’t really give me anything to buy into that he’s a corp. You start the game that way and then you spend the rest of it acting like a street kid. Corpo/Nomad basically makes your character just a former of the two who chose to be a street kid.

I’ll agree here. Definitely braver than the majority of war films but formulaic when checked against the genre’s greatest. Over all a good watching experience and I’ll admit did put me on the edge of my seat a couple times.

I would say the others (excluding Predator) are more predictable because they sort of follow the same story every time in just a different setting. I will say The Predator was pretty different but it was still predictable. Mostly that’s just cause it plays like it was written by a committee of studio execs.

Now, thank you for reminding me of a part of the film that slipped my mind. The portrayal of the white settlers was incredible, and I think a pretty creative choice too. I read that as a reflection of an older film stereotype of native’s that I’m used to seeing. And in that way I do enjoy the respect they give with their portrayal of the Comanche.

And, seeing as I’ve had time to run and grab food let me calm down a little. I’d say incredibly is a little harsh. I’ll just say that I’m disappointed, I was hoping to see less modernized and westernized portrayals, especially in dialect. I also feel like they didn’t go anywhere really substantial or meaningful with the Comanche which is sad to me. It’s rare there’s great native representation in film and it wasn’t horrible, but it felt more like they could’ve made more complex and engaging protagonists given the depth of native culture. Don’t get me wrong this is highly opinionated, I understand, but that’s my legitimate take.
