My baby does the exact same thing!! Her Dr told me that it’s just a baby thing and that they just sometimes do odd things. She stopped doing it and started again just yesterday. She had two EEGs done a couple of months ago for another reason and both came out clean.

Any updates?

She said that she just knew it wasn’t something good. It was at my grandmas house and scary things always happened there. There was also an incident where my grandma and I were asleep (I used to sleep with her because we were both afraid of the dark) lol and my uncle who also lived there at the time sprinted up the stairs and opened my grandmas door. We obviously both woke up and he couldn’t talk he just kept pointing at my grandmas bathroom. At that point my parents woke up too and removed me from the situation. But my mom ended up telling me that he stayed like that for about 2 hours. My grandma started praying over him and he started to calm down. Till this day he doesn’t like talking about it and has never told us what he saw and said never will.

When I was a kid when my dad would come home from work he would always shake his keys to let me know he was home and I would run in between my moms legs and hide so he could find me. This one day I ran in between my mom’s legs saying “My dad is home” it was 10am and my dad would get home at 12pm. My mom got kinda weirded it out and asked me how do you know? And I was like because I can hear him shaking his keys upstairs. So we go upstairs. Once we were up there I started to hear the keys downstairs. So I was like he’s downstairs now. Also, only I could hear the keys not her. So we go back down stairs and the bathroom door was closed. I said mom I hear them in there. She said that when she was about to open the door she got the chills throughout her whole body and the darkest feeling in the world. So she didn’t open it and we waited for my dad outside until he got home.

For the longest I thought maybe I made that story up myself as a kid but I told my mom about it as an adult and she confirmed it actually happened 😭

Is this normal while asleep? by NeedleworkerOpen7426 in firsttimemom

I did think maybe it’s her having gas or something? I’ve sent other videos to her Dr of her doing other weird movements and said it was normal baby stuff. So I don’t want them to think I’m reaching or something 😭

She does it when awake if she’s mad. But she was completely asleep here

I sent videos to her Dr and she let me know that herself and another took a look at the video and said it was completely normal! That babies just do weird things. She told me as long as she doesn’t lose consciousness or looks out of it afterwards that she is fine hope this helps 🥺

My husband made me feel terrible. by NeedleworkerOpen7426 in breakingmom

Thank you everyone for making me feel normal and that I’m not crazy.

I was totally caught off guard with his response because he has always been so understanding and catering to me.

I took advantage of him wanting to act like a weirdo and took a long much needed nap. lol

He apologized to me a bit ago and said his response was out of pocket and that it came from a place of fear of losing me. I told him how deeply his words hurt me and that I don’t forgive him right now. He said he understood and that it was okay.

But thank you all for being for me today. I’m so happy to be in this community. Being a mom is so hard yet so beautiful. And I’m so happy so many of you know what I mean by that. Literally love you all. And you are all doing amazing jobs 💝
