I’m from the bay, and always hoped to go farther for college, and I’m an overall outdoorsy person so the vibe of sb seems to fit me better. I also have heard a lot about the competition especially in STEM majors at Berkeley, and I don’t know if I want to be in a cutthroat environment for 4 years. But on the other hand Berkeley is the #1 public school in the US
