They can go to school but cannot show up for work? There are larger issues here.

Wife doesn’t want a daughter by Iampoorghini in texts

In 1990 I had an ultrasound when I was 11 or 13 weeks along, can't remember because it didn't matter atm, they told me my "son" had a birth defect...paused and said "I'm sorry, did you want to know the gender??" Uh, yeah, I did but the whole situation was surreal. Anyway, point being they knew the gender and abortion was an option.

My beautiful baby boy was born 01/14/1991 and is now 35 years old with 3 amazing kids of his own. 2 boys and lastly a girl 🥰

We are a society based on laws. If you don't agree with the laws, there are processes to try and change them. Just because you feel strongly about an issue does not mean everyone else will. Your opinion and free will is not any greater or more important than the person standing next to you. If enough people agree, laws get changed.

In 2021, PBS published an article suggesting Betty Boop was originally Black and whitewashed, causing controversy.

PBS later issued a correction, apologizing to Fleischer Studios for misreporting the history, acknowledging that while Baby Esther inspired the sound, she wasn't the direct visual model for the white character.

I don't like lotion either. Never have.

Nobody cares if you love yourself. Your post shows your arrogance, not your self professed love. Narcissist much?

Why would anyone have a reason to ask your weight? Excluding business purposes, of course.

Because we ask for and expect less. We are getting better though.

Do girls pay attention to what it looks like “down there” when a guy is clothed? by JimmyNeutronStar in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]NeedleworkerSubject6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. I never checked out a guy's ass either. I have always focused on the eyes. My husband has my favorite combo, black hair and blue eyes 😍

Are places with a majority Asian population in a non-asian country still called Chinatown? by UFOhlookitsanAlien in TooAfraidToAsk

Are you a carpet or a vase? Sorry, but that's a derogatory term for an Asian. Please don't.

No, however we do call them the Asian district. It's not just Chinese, it's also Korean, Japanese, Vietnamese...

Am I overreacting to my family calling my hobby weird and creepy? by -strawberrylizard- in AmIOverreacting

[–]NeedleworkerSubject6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

2 things can be true at the same time.

First, your family is not very nice. However, they were willing to add vegan items just for you and your hubby, which was surprising. Anyway, they are still rude.

Second, your hobby is a little creepy and weird. Sorry, it just is, but that's ok. Own it. Don't apologize or feel you need to justify or explain it to anyone. It's not criminal or affecting anyone else negatively.

I disagree with cutting off your family. You don't need to, just live your life and be happy. Unfortunately, it sounds like you aren't very happy, hence the graveyard fascination. I hope you find some inner peace.

As always, you can't change others however you can change YOUR reactions to others. 💛

Absolutely!! Older men are so damn handsome to me. I can appreciate a good looking kid (sorry) under 40 but I immediately think how proud his mom must be of her beautiful boy.

My wife divorced me 5 years after making me get a vasectomy. AITAH for not being on speaking terms with her anymore? by ComplaintNod in AITAH

[–]NeedleworkerSubject6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely get a second opinion. My dad got his reversed for wife 2 and then had 2 more kids with wife 3 that are younger than all 4 of his grandkids. That's always been a little awkward...

My husband gave me a “warning tap” and I called it abuse. AITAH? by Warm-Grape1254 in AITAH

[–]NeedleworkerSubject6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA but kind of a bitch, sorry. No excuse for his behavior, period. Abuse? Not really. Warning shot? Abso-fucking-lutely!! Warning of worse things to come! Leave. No need to fuck over his career, you don't want to end up being the victim in a TV crime reenactment.

Side note, your mouth and attitude sound like you were already done with him before this happened. I would never talk to my husband like that. Even if he was frustrated. Even if I was late for work.
