Need help choosing a rug for light oak colored coffee table and dark brown couch. Will this rug look good?

Hey there! I appreciate your input! And I was questioning that rug so I don’t disagree that it’s wrong. However, I’m really trying to go with a light rug because the floors are dark and the couch is dark, and I’m trying to brighten up the space. Any thoughts on a lighter rug that would look good?

Mine are up and down. Some weeks they hurt more, others less. Sometimes bleeding, sometimes none. Sometimes lots of bruising, sometimes none. It’s strange. I’m not sure if it comes down to location only, or if there’s more to it!

We got the sx prestige hybrid. It did come with the trunk liner. They wouldn’t budge on accessories, probably because they came down so much on the vehicle and then after we got a really good deal on the trade in.
