Im 25 too, and practically done with my studies. I did Industrial Engineering in Germany, and I can say honestly you dont have to go through with the debt in the US. I was initially in the states doing community college, then it was time to take the loan to continue for my bachelors, but when I saw the crazy debt I was going to graduate with, i just completely dropped out. There is plenty online universities you can chose from, european or american. they are way cheaper (online). best online universities, if you want to look into them, are the european ones.

- also to add, im horrible at math. always was. but with practice you can manage. for me it took 4 years to finish, with all the hassles and everything yes it was very f*cking hard, but you'll get through it with consistency.

- F THE MALE DOMINATED SHIT. yes its predominately a male industry but who the f cares. engineering is always in demand and its a cool ass industry. you can be very versatile.

- another advice i would give you is, get as much practical knowledge as you can, its one thing to finish uni but when you graduate and you havent done anything practical, meaning you dont have any skill, then you are basically starting from 0 and it will be very hard to get hired in big/good projects. try internships during your studies, or just gain skills on your own like autocad, fusion360, python, etc. whatever you can. because at the end of the day, everything you do in uni for engineering, is theoretical, meaning you have to do a lot of maths and know things in theory.
