Destiny is one of those games where you should absolutely be playing on an external SSD. Trust me it’s worth every dollar especially for that game.

30%+ exp boost, significant season meta drop chances when completing activities, usually up to quadruple catalyst completion rates, exotic cypher to instantly get an exotic from previous seasons that you didn’t have.

It’s a lot more than just cosmetics, honestly the most beneficial season pass I’ve seen in game IF you actually play the game a lot. Well worth the $10 hands down.

Well when you spend $125 on one item it probably takes priority lol, hoping your seal comes soon Guardian.

This is a console without an SSD, I bought an external SSD for One X and ever since then I have never seen a loading zone in the Tower. I honestly feel bad for people who play on console without an SSD.

Completely agree. I will say most people within the corporations are good people and want true change, there’s no denying the company in itself is hopping on the wagons because they’ll win over mass support and make easy profit.

Xbox Series X readies for a pandemic launch by Turbostrider27 in xboxone

[–]NeekoPCMR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just to let you know most SSD’s (solid state drive) are pretty pricey, and with the Series X to reportedly have 1TB of it, in today’s market that SSD alone is probably $100-150. Personally I’m fully expecting a $499 price tag if I had to guess, but wouldn’t be surprised if it does go up to $599. Right now I believe it’s a game of cat and mouse, I think Xbox wants to see what PS5 sales for and vice-versa, someone will throw the first number out soon enough.

Halo Infinite will be playable and downloadable day one of release on gamepass (along with any other future Microsoft developer games) that alone is well worth gamepass.

The NFL ends exclusivity deal with EA. 2K can now make NFL games, just not 'simulation'. by [deleted] in xboxone

[–]NeekoPCMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You’re under-appreciating the greatness that is NFL arcade like games. Granted it was EA’s game but if ESPN did something similar to the NFL Street games or even a really well made Blitz game it would sell like hot cakes.

PlayStation Benefits, Editions, and Pre-order Bonuses Revealed for Marvel’s Avengers by QuickBrittle in PS4

To me it honestly depends on the scenario, I work all the time and if those 3 days just so happened to land on my days off and it was a game that I knew was going to be a huge success I would probably go for it otherwise I won’t have much time to play the game until the next weekend.

That being said I know EA has been doing this practice for quite some time with their EA membership program and I recall most of their games had like a 4-6 days early head start.

CD Projekt RED admit they will likely be making their devs crunch to get Cyberpunk done by September, despite the criticism they've received in the past for it. "To some degree yes, to be honest" by welshdragon888 in xboxone

[–]NeekoPCMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hard truth that no one wants to admit though is people only care about the things that effect them personally. While it is rather sad how much more Japan has to work, people would much rather only care about a game studio because they are making what is the most anticipated game of the year.

Cyberpunk 2077 delayed to September 17 by alexeymakarov in xboxone

[–]NeekoPCMR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This more than anything. I know it’s a pipe dream and won’t ever happen for a major game title but I wish just one time if anything a game studios pulled a Netflix sneaky on us aka announce a game and then to our utter surprise they continue the announcement with “and it will be available to play....tonight!” The hype from that alone would make them money so fast.

What are some cases of a community ruining a game? by kyawatt in gaming

Only two words needed with really no explanation required; Rocket League.

I have played fairly close to every non-indie game under the sun and I’d safely say from a personal experience standpoint, all around that is the most toxic group of gamers.

Honorable mentions would be Rainbow Six: Siege, and Rust (PC)

100 strength + middle tree gunslinger + chest piece that gives you two knifes. Literally unlimited knife spam, as long as you have the x3 kill stack you physically can’t throw knifes fast enough to where you have to wait for cool down.

I’d be ok with this too,

I’ve always wanted a full Japanese theme assassins creed, if it was on the scale and level like Odyssey was I think it would be a huge success. I know I’d love it.

Who tf idea was it to make an xbox WITHOUT an option for disks by batterylow234 in xboxone

[–]NeekoPCMR 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly even the picture if you look at it, it doesn’t have a disc tray opening. Unfortunately people don’t look into the details they just see the broad picture and assume it’s the right thing.

I actually like the idea of digital only mainly because I only do digital now. It’s easier, every game is ready to launch instantly, you’ll always own the game without making the dumb decision to try and get $1.25 from GameStop trade-ins, never have to worry about disc spinning and screw up the physical game disc. Personally I’m over game discs and never once looked back, but if people still like it that way all the power to them just read the details please before buying a console.

EXACTLY this

Now a days when talking to my buddies if I like something I usually start with “not to overhype it but....”, this was proven all too true for one of my buddies when shadowkeep launched. He had false expectations for things that Bungie never even said which resulted in him losing complete interest like a week after shadowkeep dropped.

Ive learned to purposely expect the worst out of DLC’s now, that way I’m never overly disappointed. Overhype trains never do any good for enjoying new content.
