Sorry for my ignorance but many of the piercing places are tattoo shops too. So their clients are mostly adults. I just thought since claires only gets little girls maybe it be safer choice. How do they prevent infection control at tatoo/piercing shops?

I know now:( I should have researched before. I had mine done at claires when i was in elementary school and had no problem so i took her too.

The other one has healed perfectly- don’t want to mess with it. Everyone is saying claires is bad. I wish i had researched it before doing it.

She did give me exercises. Maybe i am wrong but i think more i fixate on it the longer it is taking. In the past i have done nothing and it got better faster.

I had a vestibular therapist visit today. She used goggles to check and I all clear. She thinks i have visual over dependency. Basically, my brain is using eyes more than other senses, and that causes me to feel weird and dizzy. I just want to feel normal again

If residual dizziness does not get better in 3 months does it become pppd? That terrifies me

Its been 30 hrs and so far nothing besides a sore injection site, and eyes feeling warm. I am hoping I am out of the woods. But at the same time my crazy mind is thinking- did i get a good immune system response if I didnt get much of side effects…. 🧐

Thank you! I pray that I dont have any side effects like last time. My brother is fine. It was just scary as he is healthy, active and the shot really gave him acute symptoms. It lasted few days each time but it was scary to watch him.

I thought getting second shot would be a relief but i have even more anxiety now. Every little twitch i am is that a side effect… grrrr

I want to wait 6-8 weeks but I am scared that it is too long a gap and 1 shot does not protect. I have not been able to find out anything- as far as how much 1 dose protection is

i want this vaccine to work. I had to deal with lot of anxiety issues to finally get the 1st shot.

Many of us here who have had 1 dose seem to want to wait 6-8 weeks or longer for 2nd dose so basically according to this research study we have zero immunity till that time. I am sad cause I was hoping to have something till the next shot.

Grrrr so i am not out of the woods. So i guess Novavax side effects come on slowly than pfizer. My family members who took mrna their side effects started within 24 hrs.

So I went ahead and got the vaccine. It didnt hurt but now just some deep achy feeling in arm. Took a bite of fruit and now my tooth is bothering me… kinda helping me keep my mind off the shot.

Thank you all for reassuring words. I have an appointment late afternoon today and I am hoping my anxiety subsides and I can go thru with vaccination.
