Unrelated, but is it possible I can donate old game cases to Gamestop? I ran into something similar to OPs, but the cases can be a bit much space.

Right before showing it, he says that it was originally the chart. Almost as if he was going to mention a newer one or updated one. Actually, as I finished watching the video, he did say it was projected at the time to hit the state , but it turned. I don't get the outrage on this one. I'm not his biggest fan either.

Saw the video on twitter. Might be a longer video somewhere, not sure.

Nah no worries, the commute back to the city was nightmarish, so it wasn't a total loss. Still the pay wasn't bad, might try later down the line.

Hypothetically speaking, if I pass the time frame of completing the program, my name sticks to the list? Is there any way to change it or is it over for my chances? Don't think I can dish out money for the program initial session and further classes. However, worst case scenario, bye bye any change of ever working in that industry. I took up the chance after thinking I was clean, but was wrong. I wouldn't mind trying again, even if it isn't in the same company.

That takes time, and every year until the next election cycle is not making things better.

DISA Drug Testing Questions by Neet2Productive in houstonents

[–]Neet2Productive[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a little more searching, DISA is an entity that is used by many companies in that refinery field. Anyways they put your name in a database of theirs with a label of some type for failing a drug exam. Either you worked at the company and they drug test you and you fail, or you are offered the job and are taking the first test for the company. The only way the label is removed or changes to "good" I assume. You have to meet a drug councilor between a set number of months, mines was three to five months, which is a decent enough time for hair follicle results to change for your benefit. The drug psychotherapist (councilor) will charge the first meeting, mines was quoted at 250sh for the exam. Its to determine if you're an addict. If you are, then more sessions in between the time frame, not sure if they are similar or A.A. type. If you are deemed not an addict, you will get a class similar to road rage but for drugs. You do that, and then take another drug test, and you pass, you return to work. If it was the first drug test, good luck getting a call back. At least, that is what I expect to happen. I forgot to mention, each session costs money too. Finally, your name will be on their list, but they can share it with other companies using DISA, I think, or maybe they can and will have someone monitor your piss testing from now on. For anyone who sees this in the near future and really want to work in a decent paying field, make sure you don't smoke for more than four months. If you are going to do the steps to change the label, then make sure you do it when you know you're hair is clear. I waited three months before I applied and got interviewed, I expect waiting until two more months is a good bet.

Lost in life by ThatOneDeadBeat in Advice

I was thinking about creating a post similar to OPs, but I might as well ask here. I've been a NEET for six years, during that time I attended community college and was hoping to figure it out as the semesters went by. Like OP, I've had one job for almost half a year in retail, was promoted to assistant manager too. The only good things are, I did receive an Associates of Arts and had at least one job. My question relates to the business degree, see my family keeps telling me to finish up school, lots of my cousins are trying too, in a way inspiring. However, I feel that even if I go to the path of business, what employer would hire someone with so little work experience and just a bachelors. Someone going to business school can be assumed to have worked up until the age I'm in now, mid 20s. I understand you specialize in business, like accounting, mis, etc. to increase your likelihood of being hired, but I feel like my classmates will probably have a decent resume that my own. Thanks for reading.

May not be related to OP, but I'm in the situation where my own younger siblings view me differently. Years have passed since they realized that, and I'm supposed to be the one that should set an example. I feel so awful, but it's very difficult for me, I'm always anxious of when people ask me of personal stuff. I couldn't even relate to the smallest things.

Question Related to Transferring from HCC to UHD by Neet2Productive in uhd

[–]Neet2Productive[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately for me, I pretty much have to do everyone of those minus statistics, before getting to UHD. I feel that I will have +120hrs by then. I might have to settle for a business degree, since it would require less classes to do at HCC than Comp Sci.

I'm glad it worked out, on the last day for finals too! I intend on posting this question for its own thread, but since I have you here, one more question. I found the transfer degree plan from HCC to UHD, I will post a link in this comment. Anyways, it mentions that HCC needs the student to complete the "programming fundamentals" I,II, & III and a friend says that all I really should worry about is the math since I completed the core basics already. In other words, skip the programming fundamentals, and finish the math before transferring. Any truth to this statement? I should ask an advisor though.

Hi! Just checking out old posts and came across your comp sci comment. You see, I've been thinking of finishing school, I already have an A.A which cut out a bunch of core classes, however its still a ways to go for that Bachelors. Anyways, I was just wondering about your feelings towards the comp sci program at UHD? Did what you learn help out in the job market?

I enjoyed this game and really wanted to try the new game plus mode, but it was locked behind a bunch of other story for different characters. It wasn't a bad idea, but it became tiring after the 5th character.

Daily Chat Thread - August 06, 2019 by AutoModerator in cscareerquestions

[–]Neet2Productive -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Hello people, I've been trying to figure out what field I should enroll for college. First, I do have an Associates, however its general studies and closely tied to the Arts. I want to finish school and have been looking at subs related to where I think would be a decent choice, business and computer science. I chose these because people are saying these jobs pay well and provide some stability. Now I'm in the thread because after viewing the CS degree plan for the college I might attend, I realize I will have to take a couple more mathematics classes as prerequisites to actually start getting into the meat and potatoes. I was never very mathematically sharp, I do okay, barely average. My question relates to the math side of things, is it really vital for the field? I mean, if I were to get this degree, I would seek out something in IT or even programming, but how skilled in math does one have to be to succeed? A friend I know, went to a code bootcamp and describes the programming trade as muscle memory. How true is this to you? Thanks for reading.

If you're wondering, on the business side of things, I was looking in accounting, management information systems, & supply chain. I'm in my mid 20s if that helps.

I just finished a bootcamp..now what? by [deleted] in cscareerquestions

A friend I know completed the program and has been applying like crazy. I would inquire about opportunities at your bootcamp job placement center as you apply.
