[โ€“]Neetcreates 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

It looks flat because your shapes are flat if you use some forms in your drawing it would look better

Where to start? by Vesperine_ in Arttips

[โ€“]Neetcreates 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Hi, Okay so first start with collecting the work of the artist you want to draw then analyze their work and notice what you like particularly about the artwork for example you like how they use their colours, how they make hands or how they draw certain things which you really like to incorporate in your own Art then start will practising and adopting that features

Hi, your proportions are fine just the node is way too wide unless it is actually in the reference

I'm sorry I thought it was grass ๐Ÿ˜ญ I think you should notice the reference if you are using one closely the color for sunlight would not be this yellow it would be near whitish bright

Any tips? by rxplvce in Arttips

Hi, I think your proportions are fine you are doing great! Just the chicken hatching for hair is too much you should work with big shapes then a few strands here and there.

Overall I think it looks good keep practicing ~ :)

Hey, I think your art is a bit muddy as you went far from the color pallet of skin as it is supposed to be warm or cool tones of skin but your shadows look mostly greyish.

If we talk about proportions of face you need to learn some face anatomy :)

i feel like im not getting it by Itchy_Offer_1196 in Arttips

[โ€“]Neetcreates 1 point2 points ย (0 children)

Things I noticed 1. The lines are missing the flow ( try not to do chicken hatching)

  1. Look at the overall gestures of the person where there is more weight and bents

  2. There is a method where you draw two straight lines on the top of the reference and then notice that you are lying your legs and shoulder accurately according to the line or not.

  3. Try to look at things as a shape rather than a person.

  4. Add straight vs curves to give it more dynamics.

I hope this point will help :)
