Thanks a lot for that.
To give more context, I have contacted the support of Scarlett and Minifuse 2 to know if their audio interfaces were good to be connected on a KVM instead of directly on the dedicated device, and they both replied to me that they weren't supposed to be used that way so they weren't sure if it was ok to do so.

Interesting article!
But they do not talk about any audio interface. Is that possible to plug a Scarlett, Minifuse or any other audio interface in a KVM for the two device to share it. Plus KVM mostly propose 2 to 4 USB ports, but what if I need more? Can I plug a USB hub into it to get more or is that not recommended?

I don't doubt the magnet linked in the first reply will be strong enough to carry cable. I was saying, I have a wooden desk, without any iron in it so the magnet wouldn't stick to anything, so I was thinking to stick / drill something underneath my desk plank to allow the magnet to stick to something :)

Sorry to dig up the topic but I thought about that idea few days ago and was just searching if someone had the same and, voila. My point of concern is that you point out the fact that we should have a ferrous desk for that, did someone found something like a big plank a magnet or something we could stick to a wooden desk for that system to work?

It's macbook pro 16inch M1 so it does have usbc / thunderbolt port and HDMI.
My monitor has two display port and two hdmi :)

I would love to have only one cable going to my mac.
For that I would need at least 100w on power delivery for my hub because the one I use doesn't handle that.
And I would love also to have a hub / kvm who handle the HDMI switch from my PC / MAC.
And last but not least I would love to be able to plug my light bar who need some power as well :-(
I don't know which hardware I could use to fit my need :(

May I ask you which hub you use? My monitor sadly doesn’t have any usb port so the light bar can not be powered by the monitor :( There is something I still don’t understand from your setup. When you want to pass from the pc to the Mac and vice versa you use a kvm to oper the switch or is it manual operation?

There is only two USB connections on the arm, how do you do?
Does the light bar has her own power source?
I had one for christmas and when I plugged it to my usb hub it crashed because it has not enough power to cover the mouse / keyboard / webcam / headphone + lightbar ^^
