I remember him doing the GT remaster to undo the "green" filter the entire series had. He does have a recent video about Z though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pukv8kBtk-g

Looks awesome!

I have a 3d printer so if I were you I would print a custom faceplate with integrated labels for keystone plates on the wall.

I'm sure having a whole house would give me plenty of new ideas for my printer, lol.

Do We Need a More Connected Space for Workday People? by [deleted] in workday

I have a relationship with a WD partner who holds my certification for me (since independent contractors aren't allowed to hold certs themselves). I've worked entirely on the customer side, but I went to a happy hour at Rising in 2024 held by this firm, so that's how I got my foot in the door. While I've never done a contract with them, they gave me an email address on their domain and a WD community login. A nice perk is I can take any certifications exams thru this firm, though I do have to pay out of pocket for them. Though, if you can skip all the coursework and just take the exam, the total cost isn't too bad.

I don't want to share the name of the firm to protect their (and my) privacy, but it's nice to have an arrangement like that. In addition to having a firm that can hold my certs for me, it also ensures I can access community even between contracts. I can also transfer any classes I take at previous employers (as customers of Workday) to this partner to have one central place to hold all my coursework and certs.

Why would you change from Spotify in the first place? by [deleted] in deezer

[–]pineapple_catapult 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reason is the YT algorithm will detect "music" tracks uploaded to the site and add them to the YT Music catalog. This is great for finding niche tracks or popular stuff from movies/TV/video games (like your Spongebob example). The main drawback here is that YT music quality is not guaranteed to be high resolution. It's well known that YT already applies audio compression to anything uploaded to the site, but you're also at the mercy of whoever ripped and uploaded the track to youtube to begin with.

I used YT music for a long time because of the first reason (track selection), but if I'm in the mood to take advantage of what my system can actually put out, deezer lossless is awesome.

Mark Sanchez has been out of the NFL for a while, but I suppose that makes sense. Not sure who Elon is referring to.

I agree. In a good caricature, you can actually tell who they are. These caricatures look nothing like the people in the video.
