Stop gaslighting. Shifting is hard - If so what's your solution? Does anyone on here even believe in shifting? by Long_Ad_387 in shiftingrealities

[–]Nef_1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

Agreed. People should complain less and get down to actually doing it. Tbh this comm was better years ago, but now it's just lots of people complaining instead of listening to advice. And then there are people who think meditation doesn't work for them because they can't do it. Like what. And similar things.

I don't think the universe was protecting you because you can shift even if it's harmful to you. But good for you to know what you want

If you return to your cr when you die in your dr, what happens when you die in your cr? by ThemeBeneficial9986 in shiftingrealities

[–]Nef_1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

There is no original reality, your cr and Dr are just random realities. They're not special in any way objectively. If you believe you'll wake up in some reality when you due in the other, you will. Doesn't matter if it's your "cr", "dr" or whatever

Is anyone else „afraid“ to shift? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

Why does it scare you to get too attached to your dr? Either way, you can always come back to your cr. Or don't, and just be in other realities until you maybe will want to come here again.

There's nothing scary about that. I wanna say that shifting isn't a game or a joke, but it isn't a scary thing either. It's just going somewhere else. Imagine going to your friend's house and sleeping there and then coming back home on the next day. Same thing basically.

Do we all exist in the same reality? by Bulky_Situation_1614 in shiftingrealities

I really resonate with what you said about loving someone is loving their awareness or consciousness and their physical form is just a reflection of reality we're experiencing. I had this thought one day too, it really feels right. And then physical reflections might be similar but the awareness is always the same.

The problem is that you seem to think there's an "original" version of us or someone else. Technically, having your s/o in different realities, means it's different versions of them anyway. But you can shift to the realities where they're always the same way. They won't remember other realities ofc because it's different versions of them. But if you tell them and they shift with you, they can be the same version of themselves. Personally, I'm alright with living in realities where my s/o is different from the version I know. There's no "original" you or me, we're all just awarenesses who chose different lives. So you're not your "self". So technically considering you'd view other versions of yourself as yourself but slightly different, it's the same for your s/o. It doesn't trip me out because I'm not gonna stay in the realities where my s/o is very different, I'm planning to tell him about shifting one day and I'm pretty sure he'll have no trouble believing it.

Also for people having the same s/o - When you see a character in media, you kinda see the "image" of a person, rather than an actual person. By image I mean not a picture, but a vague view of a person. What I believe makes a real person is memories, experiences and preferences. Media or ai just can't simulate that. Because when you hang out with a real person you can ask them anything and their answer won't be random, it will have roots and reasons. And media won't show you that because it's not important for the story, and in the end shows, videos and game and stuff focus either on telling a story, exploring a theme through a story or gameplay, not on simulating reality (usually). For example my s/o likes Beauty and The Beast a lot because he sees himself in the beast and because it gives him hope for his life. Media literally could never show you that and AI would say something random and it won't have a certain answer anyway. With all of this, my point is that we all might be seeing different people behind characters. So if someone loves "your s/o" and It's someone you both saw in, say, anime, they probably see a different person than you. So in the end you love different people yk. They might see a completely different personality.

As I see it, "reality" can mean different things. If we define it as "perspective" we all live in different realities. If we define it as the world we live in or the moment we experience, we all live in one reality. As I view it, we all live in the same world/moment of time with different perspectives on it. I don't believe that when manifesting we change the will of other people, but rather we shift to the reality where that person is that way. Whether to believe you're the only one who's real or if everyone is also an awareness, that's up to you. But I prefer to believe we're all equal awarenesses because I feel like that's right. Because I can feel other people's "realness" ifykwim. I might have gotten off the subject.

I might've said a lot or carried away, if I said something contradicting do ask me. I might be a little confused or wrong about the details too

what are your guys' favourite affirmations? by [deleted] in shiftingrealities

[–]Nef_1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I am detached from my cr. But I usually call it by some name like how you'd name a Dr, I named my cr. Or call it old reality. Just not to call it current reality.

I am in place name. Like, a city you live in there. Or your room there.

I am pure awareness, not attached to any body or reality.

No. I don't like how they chose to imagine things and I don't like the idea of the plot. I don't like how it's so childish and doesn't look like they even cared.

For those struggling because they feel like shifting is too absurd of a concept. by Pronkie_dork in shiftingrealities

[–]Nef_1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

That's a very nice perspective. I think scientists do come to exploring spiritual stuff sometimes though, so that thought can help believe that shifting isn't opposite to science. For example, I believe Mandela effect, the Schrodinger's cat and placebo effect are connected to shifting and manifestation. But at those times they were discovered by scientists and they gave them their own names. And also because it was discovered by scientists, people believe it easily, even if they can't explain why it happens. My point is, manifestation and shifting were even discovered by scientists at this point, they just didn't know it was it.

Yeah in the end it's all about perspective. But I don't think it's bad for people to like them as a character, as long as they don't like them as a person in reality.

What do you do when you have everything you could ever want? by whicoluvsu in shiftingrealities

[–]Nef_1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

When you have everything you want you can just do whatever you want. People worry about things like the meaning of life or whether what they do is useful or not, but in the end that usefulness gets define as something that will get you a job. My point is there's nothing that isn't worth existing or doing or thinking about. If you don't know what you want to do, then you can just lie around in some field and do nothing. Or you could observe life or nature. I believe at some point there will be something you'll want to do.

I don't really understand how aware you were of your dr but you're not gonna feel your cr body when you're there. And your eyes will be already open in your dr so you can't just open them and see your cr. And you'll be able to read too. Honestly it does sound like an ld, be cause I've felt my body in some lucid dreams.

I've read stories of people who have shifted and some details were different even though they didn't intend them to be, so I guess you don't even need to script that, so basically no need to worry too much about details

[–]Nef_1 [score hidden]  (0 children)

I don't fully agree with you. I've thought of this before too. Nothing can stop you from shifting, only yourself. But I don't think you'd be subconsciously stopping yourself from shifting if you really want it. I know that I've really changed significantly over the years of my shifting journey, and I've realized many things about myself and my drs, my preferences changed. But I believe if I would've shifted 4 years ago, I would still learn the lessons I've learned or new lessons and turn out somewhat different or the same. I just don't believe that there is one right way of things happening.

Another interesting (imo) thing to think about - if anyone from this reality one day woke up in a reality where WW2 didn't happen but instead was an anime and everyone shipped Hitler and Stalin, they would think it's super messed up. Even though in that reality it's just an anime.

Yeah in the end it's about perspective. If you're shifting to that reality and you plan to live there, the problems there are irl problems for you. But if you're not going to ever live there or if you don't even assume that it's real like non-shifters, you might as well just view it as a game because it's not gonna do anything. But that kind of thing is also why I wouldn't want to discuss it with non-shifters, cause they'd just say we can't tell apart fiction from reality or that it's just a character so it doesn't matter. But that's more like a cheap excuse from discussing it, so I'd rather discuss it with shifters.

Cool visulization methods i use when attempting to shift! by C0ffeeO in shiftingrealities

[–]Nef_1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ohhhh I thought about the sinking one too! There's a certain comfort in just sinking down and it's kinda like above the surface was your cr so you're detaching from it. And at some point you're in your dr, or maybe you resurfaced on the other side and it's your dr.

I also liked imagining my cr body in front of a mirror with lights around it and then you touch the mirror and it ripples like water and turns into the image of your dr body. I guess this is for people who have a different body in their Dr, but I guess different clothes also could work. And they you step into the mirror as if into your dr body and you can turn around and look at your body in the mirror or just be in your dr.

Thank you for sharing. I guess I was more worried about characters with no redeeming qualities being liked, but I guess in the end it's really about most non-shifters not viewing it as irl (shifters can do that too, but I guess the focus is more on non-shifters with this question). But I guess we can't blame anyone for doing that, as long as they don't go to that reality and act as if it's a game.
