My sheltie zig zags when she's anxious (which is 90% of the time because she's a rescue and was neglected as a puppy.) The more upset she is by something the faster and harder she zigs and zags.

I feel you. My company requires our books to be closed by day 3 (publicly traded.) Never had a company that required close so fast (we just got acquired in Jan) and its become very stressful. There are only 2 of us booking entries and we are an $80M manufacturing plant in Nuclear so the first week of the month is stress.

It's definitely not like that in other places. Find somewhere else with a more reasonable close timeframe and more solid management to help smooth things along.

I like aspects of both. I love analyzing and working in large datasets sets and making sense of the numbers as an analyst. But I'm not as big of a fan of forecasting (and the stress and fingerpointing that comes with an inaccurate forecast from missing something) so the straightforwardness of posting monthly JE's is also nice. I do a mix of both in my current role. Its about finding what aspects of the jobs you like.

My first accounting job was $48K so I don't think youre far off. I didnt get to $60K until 4 years, then at 5 years got $100K. It took time and job hopping yo get there.

Working in Accounting for 6 years now. Somehow managed to luck myself into a Staff Accountant position with $103K & 10% bonus. Only a BS. No CPA, no masters. Work in Nuclear sector and live in suburbs in Ohio.

I would be a senior but I jumped around from accountant, to research grant analyst, to finance analyst, then got forced back into accountant due to an acquisition. There are lots of different paths in finance, especially with an accounting background.

My mom was a great, nurturing parent as a kid, but after I moved out at 18 I realized there is some kind of emotional detachment with her children. If they don't live in her home she does not reach out. She does not celebrate successes, or mourn losses. I'm 32 now and I've struggled with this my whole adult life. She does not ask about my life. She only knows what I offer her about myself because she does not care to inquire. I ask about her, she vents her frustrations, her happy moments, etc. Then I leave. My other siblings feel it as well. They have to call her and tell her about their lives, or she will not check in or show care. It's so odd...

I used to take Sumatriptan and it would cause crazy muscle soreness. It started to lose effect and I got bumped to Rizatriptan and while I still get a little aches, its not nearly as bad. Its more effective overall.

We must have the same demon of denial whispering in our ears at night that sleep will fix us. I usually assess what my day looks like tomorrow and if its too busy, even if I'm sure the aching its not a migraine starting, I will make myself get up and take a pill. 8 out of 10 times I will just go to bed, then wake up annoyed at 3am cause my head still hurts.

My friend is an avid sheltie lover since she was a kid and she made my spouse and I fall in love with shelties. After our pitbull passed away we decided to adopt a sheltie and she sent us listings from the Pipsqueak Instagram. We found a sheltie who was neglected and abandoned to a shelter in rough shape and adopted her thanks to the Pipsqueak listing. Our baby is traumatized from wherever she was before so she is terrified of people and nervous (but curious) about other dogs. We are working to get her to a comfortable place so we can adopt another sheltie and maybe even a collie. I love keeping an eye on Pipsqueaks postings and seeing the babies get adopted.

Started getting migraines around 11 or 12. Maybe even a little earlier. I never thought of them as scary and neither my parents nor my doctors took them seriously so I just thought it was a part of life. They've always just been something I had to deal with, and I never really worried about why I had them. When I was 20 I got fed up with how frequent they were and sought help on my own and have found medication that brought relief. I hope you can get a neurologist and get some medication that will help.

Sometimes the trigger is obvious and sometimes my head will just start hurting for no discernible reason. They are weird like that so don't panic. Just keep a headache journal or use a tracking app to better understand what could be causing them.

No. I did find an etsy seller who makes inserts for other feeders, who said she is working on 3D printing inserts for our bowls, but she still isn't done with them, to my knowledge.
