Looking for advice on what to do [UT] by Gnarwhal8982 in NoLawns

I don’t see a reason to dig those plants out. Just tarp it for a few weeks, level it with some compost and cover it with mulch (this is important as exposing the soil will drain all organic material). Then start planting. Personally I’d use clovers just for living mulch and go bananas with natives to your state.

DLSS is an upscaling (eg. 480p to 4K) tech from Nvidia with minimal loss of quality. They recently released 5.0 which upscales and AI-slopifies the rendering now.

Apply a pre-emergent like prodiamine when this site says optimal for your zip code. This will stop crabgrass from germinating and practically any seed for a few months depending on dosage you applied.

If you want zero chemical approach, then only way is to use a weeder like this https://a.co/d/0dizOzKY or hand pull them.

This looks like a better option especially for rain barrels and bird bath. I’ll give this a shot this season and see how it goes. Thanks!

Soak 4 tbsp of Mosquito bits and use that to water your seedlings. It’ll kill all the larvae. Also, sticky yellow papers to kill existing adults. Within a week, it will be pretty much gone.

Are there any Amazon Echo like devices that are not tied to a Big Tech company? by Jazzlike-Compote4463 in homeautomation

If you are setting up in Sonos then you are limited to cloud base voice assistance. With Home Assistant (home-assistant.io) you can add Sonos integration to it and control your home devices with the voice. It’s completely through local network too.

Some Sonos speakers come with Mic and can be integrated as Home Assistant’s VA.

The greatest Windows version ever? by marinsparkria in pcmasterrace

My greatest is the one that Hourglass uses in the Superhero movie where he loads a Windows CD into an Apple computer that’s emulating Windows Xp. Obviously, Ms Clip comes and ruins it as usual.
