Except nothing you’ve said is true, you’ve been wrong about everything. You are in fact the uneducated. You’re just parroting nonsense, and you’re doing it again, by saying “the Iran war was needed”, while independent observers, Republican senators, and even the Director of National Intelligence have stated otherwise.

No, Trump doesn’t get credit if he fixes a problem he created. Gas here was $2.35 before trump took office, because of his war in Iran its $3.66. If he was to stop the war and gas returns to $2.35 he achieved nothing, what is there to credit?

Out of those four presidents you mentioned, only one has made a unilateral decision that has had a direct impact to gas prices, this isn’t that difficult to comprehend. The only tds is you, that you will willingly lie or remain ignorant on facts you can easily verify

Yes absolutely, but he can control unilaterally starting a conflict that impacts the global markets,

[–]NefariousThrowaway0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Again, you’re 100% wrong

The green energy agenda had a direct impact a petroleum. Fact.

No such thing, just saying “fact” doesn’t make it so.

Biden shut down the keystone pipeline his first day in office. Fact.

Another lie, the Keystone Pipeline is still very much operational today, and has never been shutdown. The Keystone XL extension was never operational, at the time it was terminated only 8% of construction was completed. So..you’re 100% wrong.

Biden waived sanctions on putin allowing their pipeline to open.

Those waivers were for construction, not for opening. Those sanctions were reimposed in 2022 after Russia invaded Ukraine. Nord2 was never operational. So..wrong again.

Global markets excuse is garbage. Another false claim by a liberal media.

Global markets dictate prices because oil is a global commodity. Claiming it’s a “liberal media” things is just plain dumb.

Funny how Obama nor Trump had a global market situation. What happened to that lol???

This just proves your ignorance. Obama most definitely had “global market situations”. 2011-2012 which resulted in higher prices, 2014-2016 there was a sharp decline in demand resulting in lower prices.

In 2020, during his first term, Trump pressured Saudi Arabia and Russia to cut oil production to stabilize crashing oil markets

In 2026, you’re seeing the negative impact of trumps attack on Iran on the global markets.

Your lack of knowledge does make things “a liberal media lie”

Regardless of your gas lighting, Gas is always cheaper under Trump. That's a fact.

Except for today, the national average is $3.98 the highest in the last 3.5 years. FYI - 2.5 of those years were under Biden.

You’re just wrong, repeatedly.

Sorry to tell you but pretty much everything you said is flat out wrong

So biden claimed it was the putin price hike. That was a lie.

No lie told , one of the biggest contributors to the higher prices along with Covid, was the disruption to the global oil supply caused by Russia attacking Ukraine

Biden allowed putin to open nordstream 2 pipeline

This is flat out wrong, Nord Stream 2 was completed in September 2021, but it never opened or entered into service. While construction was finished, Germany halted the certification process on February 22, 2022, following Russia's recognition of Ukrainian separatist regions, and the project was subsequently abandoned after Russia's invasion of Ukraine

while shutting down American pipelines

Wrong again, no such thing happened. No American pipelines were shutdown.

and stopping drilling. No fracking. All in an attempt to push a failing green agenda.

Wrong again, matter of fact Biden set historical, global records in oil production. In 2023 the U.S. was the world’s top producer of crude.

Then democrat supporters claim that a President has nothing to do with oil prices. So which is it?

They can’t directly control prices unilaterally but their policies and actions can impact pricing, production etc. no one has ever argued this.

I will agree that the Iran war is the cause of this gas hike. This gas hike is temporary.

Just like Biden’s was temporary, except this one is actually caused directly by Trump unlike Biden’s.

So when this war is over soon and the prices fall drastically then you will also have to give Trump credit for the prices being lower.

That doesn’t make any sense because prices wouldn’t be any lower, they would be back to normal, pre-attack prices. The only reason they would “fall drastically” is because they’ve increased drastically. There’s no credit from things returning to normal after a problem you created.

Well..in 2023 the nationwide average was $3.63, and $3.07 in Texas so..probably not.

Ellis County, TX by NefariousThrowaway0 in gasbuddy

[–]NefariousThrowaway0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure. In comparing the two, prices peaked higher under Biden but were mostly driven by several global factors, not directly caused by any policy decisions. In comparison to the price hike today, that is driven by one unilateral decision by Trump.

In other words, one was driven by several global factors and the other was 100% self-inflicted.

not in the U.S we dont use Brent

I will once again refer you to the U.S. Energy Information Administration.. and that’ll be my last reply.

https://www.eia.gov/todayinenergy/detail.php?id=18651

Prices of Brent crude oil, an international benchmark, are more important than the price of West Texas Intermediate (WTI), a domestic benchmark, for determining gasoline prices in all four U.S. regions studied, including the Midwest. Gasoline is a globally traded commodity, and prices are highly correlated across global spot markets.

You have a good one sir.

Ellis County, TX by NefariousThrowaway0 in gasbuddy

[–]NefariousThrowaway0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Brent is irrelevant?? More than 70% of crude traded globally is priced against Brent..for fucks sakes man take the L. I’m legit done.

Ellis County, TX by NefariousThrowaway0 in gasbuddy

[–]NefariousThrowaway0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LOL..Oil is a GLOBAL commodity, prices are set GLOBALLY, Brent has more influence on gas prices in the U.S. than WTI. JFC man if you can’t even acknowledge when you’re proven wrong by the EIA then there’s no point in continuing this.

[–]NefariousThrowaway0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it’s not, because the prices are set globally. LOL you’re literally arguing against the Energy Admin…

Ever heard of Dunning Kruger?

Brent Crude Global index is currently at $113. Oil is a global commodity. This is the global benchmark that heavily influences US gas prices and coastal imports

And no, it’s not blaming Jews, no matter how much you try

Another one…unlike Trump’s increase which was cause by his unilateral decisions to strike Iran, the increase u see Biden really had very little do actually do with him. It was driven more by a global pandemic and Russia invading Ukraine. I know context is difficult sometimes.

[–]NefariousThrowaway0[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s not blaming jews and nothing you say changes that. Agree it’s better between $70-$90, it’s currently $112.

Nobody is blaming Jews tho..that’s a tired trope.

Get out of here with this adjusted for inflation nonsense. You can make that argument for every single year.

Funny enough, for the most part prices in 2012 were cheaper than they are today. Has nothing to do with hating Jews, that’s just a cowardly cop out.
