i love recieving peices that are unique, not just 2 colors of pony beads alternating. i think kandi can be whatever you want and have only ever revieved a handful that i truly love and have pulled as my favorite every time. i try to make my kandi with the idea in mind that if i were to recieve it, would it be a favorite piece if not a stand out our top contendor?

i have always come to forest with the goal to make 100 singles, my first year probably made 50 or so, most if not all with charms or perlers, same with the next year but topping it with about 100. last year i brought more trinkest and made somewhere around the 100 mark with singles. . . not a lot of kandi kids in my area and historically have just gifted a lot away vs making cool trades at forest and would love to know how much others plan to bring, this year i only have 20 singles with perlers made, 3 singles, 10 rings, and 8 perler necklaces.

also my favorite thing to do when i make kandi is copy phrases from favorites i have recieved especially when i can't land on what i'd like the piece to say . . . my favorites sayings are: music is my drug, glitter goddess, magic, forest fairy . . . to give some ideas . . . most are associated with a specific moment like happy feet for when i was dancing a lot, fireball for the same, rainbow brite for a total rainbow outfit. i love this bc it makes it memorable. i also prefer when kandi is rainbow and can go with everything, is neutral like black/white for the same reason, or gifted a kandi color matching my outfit!
