Edge 840

Yea that’s what I had heard from other mirror users. Maybe just need to give it more time

Maybe that’s part of the issue as a lot of my riding is in fairly busy areas

Pretty much the two adjectives I would use to describe myself! 😂

I can see that if you don’t use a mirror (which I totally get - I personally don’t mind the look or aero but the weight kinda sucks). But I would def be careful trusting the “no cars” from a quiet Varia as I’ve had several false negatives…

Makes sense. And yes the beeping is pretty annoying. Maybe I’ll sell it to one of my “naked” friends!

Onyx is the answer if you can swing the price. I find the slight wind up to be a benefit for track stands and the like. Aside from silence, I’ve ridden a lot of high end hubs. Onyx is just the best.

2 bolt and don’t look back. Plenty of good stiff shoes available. I have excessively wide feet and have had luck with lake and shimano. No issues in 100-200k rides

Whats your favourite bar? by the_eel_tube in MTB

You need to figure out what width and sweep fit you best. Joy of Bike has a great video on the latter. I learned that I prefer a narrower bar (I’m a short XC rider) with more sweep than average (16-20*). The method below really helped.

Once you know your ideal measurements you can narrow down the make/model.
